We have consistently seen OL have the "light come on"

Theres too much talent in the group to still struggle so much. Hopefully McDermott can be that guy this year and let others fall into place.

Cant wait till Gaynor gets here

He is a killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get da fug out of this man's way

McDermott, Gauthier and Gall really anchored our line last year. We were very bad until those changes took place. McDermott will struggle with guys that would give any LT fits, but i think he is more than capable. Donaldson his going to be a really good OG at 330 i feel. If anyone can give us anything at LG we'll be in business. I hope it's Gaynor who can find a role inside either at C or LG

I want to know where all the Darling is really a guard people are at. He was horrible as a LT and people thought he could just kick inside because of size. He has no nasty, not a road grader, and really no fire to him
I'm here. I've always said he wasn't a LT and argued with people for years on that point. I think people are overreacting to DMoney's comments. I think Darling has a good chance to play in the NFL and hope he finds a spot on a zone blocking offense. He did well at RT as a True Frosh when Coley was calling a ton of zone plays for Duke.

Not all guards have to be road graders. It just really helps in what Richt likes to do. This is why fit is key.

If everyone stays healthy for the first two games and nkosi wins the job. All we need is a great performance by the defense, walton and the line to establish the run, and then perry can make easy plays to playmaking wide receivers and tight ends. Thats the thing we don't need anything crazy just make simple passes to playmakers and we will score points and potentially beat fsu. and if we do that....the u will be officially back!!!

The problem were running into now (not sure if you picked up on it yet D is with letting recruits watch sherriffs & Ryan Collins lil brother is they're getting worried about us moving forward. They need to see our offense isn't this regularly. Because it can become a double edged sword. Some may see the opportunity while others may be scared away because they feel we can't compete. All I'll say is a certain 2018 qb commit left this weekends scrimmage comparing us to other teams he's seen & talking a bunch of **** bout how the offense looked... let just hope most of our kids are leaders and not followers.

Go on...

Alabama has an RB who can throw playing QB and they're landing WRs everywhere. Before him? A dude who transferred from FSU. FSU has had multiple periods of battling an unsettled QB situation. Ohio State has had a series of athletes who are passers second playing QB.

This is not an excuse for anything.

Alabama has shown they can win championships tho. Miami has A LOT to prove to these guys

It isn't an excuse and I doubt it will matter all that much. What might matter more is Sitkowski running his mouth. And I'd ask what does Sitkowski have to run his mouth about? He's done nothing on the field at the high school level to merit his ranking. He might have the most to prove of all our 2018 commits.

QB commit?...or prospect? If it's the former, then Sitkowski needs to sit His less than 50% completion %age, 6 TD 9 INT throwin' *** down somewhere.

Art was talking **** about the offense? or a qb commit for another school? :monkey-serious:

also, how can we let they see the offense isn't that regularly? there;s no other options at the moment right?

They can't see it because the options now shouldn't be at Rutgers let alone here. We just need to get healthy & get the 17 class in already.

Now now, if it were a certain other QB commit was caught talking trash about how our O looked he'd be praised as the guy who is not only man enough to talk the talk, but to walk the walk as well.

As for high school stats, they are either meaningless, or they tell us a lot about a kids potential. We have a current QB that had a nearly 10 to 1 TD to INT ratio, but no one cares. Then there's Jake Heaps who set the world on fire in high school, and we all know how he turned out.

Also, if it was Sitkowski, no one would have understood a word the auctioneer said. He talks so fast people have to record his voice and play it back at a quarter speed to understand what the heck he's saying.

Knew McDermott would be the LT when everyone else kept putting him on the bench for a freshman LT in Donaldson. Also said that Donaldson wasn't ready to play OT until to cut a good amount of weight. McDermott played much better at LT last year than at LG. LG he looked like a joke. Penalties were the problem
at LT. His play in the final stretch actually was pretty solid. Probably the best we've seen since Flowers. If he can improve from that and cut down on the penalties, he could be a **** good player. Darling is an absolute waste. Hopefully Gaynor comes in and takes over at center and Gauthier grabs that LG spot.

With our schedule you 1000% have to start Perry this season. He can take his licks & we probably still win 9-10 games. Why would you want him to break in next year vs LSU being game #1 ? Let him get a season under his belt & the hype machine for 2018 rollin.

Shirreffs has an injured hand?

He injured his last fall and apparently it is still affecting him. I guess that injury is still messing with his accuracy. Other people who saw the scrimmage just think he flat out sucks. Said he forced balls into places they didn't belong just like Rosier. His were just forced to check downs. His pick in the scrimmage came from doing that. The difference between him and Rosier is Shirreffs is incapable of making plays on this level according to them. Rosier on the other hand can make plays at this level. He'll just follow them up with multiple bad decisions.

Everybody sees different things.

I'm pleasantly surprised bout McDermott. IMO he looked bad last season. Weak, slow, off balance. Good on him if he getting er done now cause Miami needs him too.

What the **** is going on with these QB's at practice?

Are they seriously that bad?

YES... this is the problem with listening to these peoples & apologists on here. They dont know whats really going on & their opinions are irrelevant. Plenty of people have told yall how bad sherriffs & Malik are but yall refuse to listen. Neither of them will be near playing time come regular season but we gotta deal with them for now.

pray the OLine can run block a lot better this season. we may have to rely on defense and Mark a lot this season.

its just the spring.... Evans is a walk on Qb of course he's "that bad" lol

and Malik is probably more of a gamer than a good practice qb, still not someone to carry a team with this much potential anywhere significant during a season.

N'kosi Perry is going to be the starter and the offense is going to pop when he gets here.

any issues about recruits being concerned about the offense in the spring is just short sighted bs, the offense is missing some key players and wasnt running Mark Walton to help the passing game at all either of course it's going to look like it took a step back from last year. Soon as the season starts though it's going to be a completely different animal.
