Interesting...where are all the f-cking fa&&ot ******** who were so sure that McDoormat wouldn't be the LT next year?

Great write up.

I don't want Dye, but it appears this staff does. If we don't end up getting Dye to transfer here, do you think Dallas just makes the move to RB for the year? or do you think they just keep him at WR?

Secondly, if No one actually separates themselves our of the qbs, who do you think should get the job? I understand picking a guy with experience like Rosier, but at the same time I think it makes more sense to pick one of the younger guys like Allison or Perry who just have more talent and potential to grow throughout the season, and also would be a great thing for the next few seasons. Personally I want Allison or Perry to start no matter what.

I would say we don't need a fullback. We didn't even take a snap under center at the last scrimmage according to someone who watched. That position should be scrapped. Motion Herndon or Irvin into the backfield and make them an H-Back in certain formations.

Starting to kind of question why Dallas didn't some reps at RB unless they're 100% certain that Dye is coming.

Running back is easier to learn so they wanted him to get reps at WR.

If Wheeler, Gall, and Ben Jones can contribute....KC certainly can too

The JAGS on the OL are exactly why i LOL at the noobs who think we should only take 3 OL this year. We should be shooting for 5, not 3. We're going to lose 4 OL in the 2 deep this year, plus we're still carrying the deadweight of Jahair, Milo, Mahoney, and Tre (and now Brown).

I love LOLing at noobs! I bet you pwned them!

When Sonny comes back does he have a chance at taking over for Darling at LG, or will he just stick with competing at RT?

I was hoping that Allison was going to grab hold of the QB job during the spring and hold onto it through the fall. We have no chance of being consistently successful with a guy like Rosier playing QB for us.

Really encouraging news about the starting O-Line. Is Odogwu 35 years old. I feel like he's been on the roster since Berlin was the starting QB.

" I thought Cade Weldon showed promise. However, he’s nowhere near ready and got more erratic as the spring went on. That’s normal given everything that’s being thrown at him. He also worked primarily with the threes, which means a lot of walk-ons at WR. But he has good arm strength (second-best behind Jack), solid size and intriguing running ability. His accuracy should be OK with time and is better than Rosier and Allison at the same stage. "

Why should we have any hope that Perry also a true freshman can mature enough to win the job. I hope a light goes off with Allison or Its going to be Rosier by default. A friend of mine a Georgia fan who knows Richt said it wouldn't surprise him if Richt is just trying to rattle Allisons cage and that he in fact is the one he plans to start with.

Because perry is better than weldon.

brian polendey better savour every rep he gets this year if any.

he's about to be pushed further down that depth chart with the two guys we got coming in

wondering if he can play fullback considering our depth issues there. If he is known for blocking and can catch well, seems that is a role he can adjust to and where he is needed.

Lol. He looked alright last season, even bad at times so don't give me that ****. He has evidently been working extremely hard and it has paid off this spring. Really happy to hear he should be solid for us this season.

Interesting comments about the WR position. I don't see Mullins being the #2 for fall camp. I think/hope that Cager will take the next step in August camp.

As for Langham - he's not the kind of guy that's going to get you separation. He's the type of kid that will use the body to box out and be effective in short yardage or goal line. Think Orende Gadsen - slow guy and never created separation yet used his body well to catch (also had huge/great hands).

Excellent insight as always D-Money. I expect Perry to win the job in the fall. Get Walton, Richards, Herndon as many touches as possible should be the goal of this offense. They will all be playing on Sunday for sure. If Perry does start I'd be willing to bet he makes this O-Line look even better then they are. A little mobility & pocket awareness goes along way. Brad had neither. Special Teams putting us in good field position (Jeff Thomas) will be a major key to this season. We all know the D is going to make or break us. I think Delaney, Young, Carter, & Johnson are going to feast with how excellent our front 7 will be. Can't wait til September. Go Canes!

i'm still not sold on deejay at WR. making contested catches is nice and all, but as the great D-Money himself once said, give me the guys who can run away from people

D$,

What are you hearing as far as the scheme is concerned? During the losing streak, Miami became very linear and at times predictable with the Offense. Can we expect some changes with the pkaycalling now that Kaaya is gone?

I'd rather stick to personnel, given that these are closed practices.
