I am interested to see which freshman WR gets the most action.

Richards, Mullins and Berrios sound like the top 3 guys with Cager looming. Doesn't look easy for them to get much time.

I think that Jeff Thomas will play a whole lot

McDermott, Gauthier and Gall really anchored our line last year. We were very bad until those changes took place. McDermott will struggle with guys that would give any LT fits, but i think he is more than capable. Donaldson his going to be a really good OG at 330 i feel. If anyone can give us anything at LG we'll be in business. I hope it's Gaynor who can find a role inside either at C or LG

I want to know where all the Darling is really a guard people are at. He was horrible as a LT and people thought he could just kick inside because of size. He has no nasty, not a road grader, and really no fire to him

The problem were running into now (not sure if you picked up on it yet D is with letting recruits watch sherriffs & Ryan Collins lil brother is they're getting worried about us moving forward.

I was worried about that. One of the reasons I'm rooting so hard for Perry to succeed is that he will really get kids buzzing if he has some success.

And if he's thrown in before he's ready and ruined it may have the opposite effect.

I wonder how worried the coaching staff are about the QB situation.

Are they at panic stations?

What the **** is going on with these QB's at practice?

Are they seriously that bad?

" I thought Cade Weldon showed promise. However, he’s nowhere near ready and got more erratic as the spring went on. That’s normal given everything that’s being thrown at him. He also worked primarily with the threes, which means a lot of walk-ons at WR. But he has good arm strength (second-best behind Jack), solid size and intriguing running ability. His accuracy should be OK with time and is better than Rosier and Allison at the same stage. "

Why should we have any hope that Perry also a true freshman can mature enough to win the job. I hope a light goes off with Allison or Its going to be Rosier by default. A friend of mine a Georgia fan who knows Richt said it wouldn't surprise him if Richt is just trying to rattle Allisons cage and that he in fact is the one he plans to start with.

Because perry is better than weldon.

The guy that's not on campus yet is ALWAYS better than the ones that are. It's a known fact. Football fandom 101.

Film dont lie. Based off high school perry is better.

Question D do any of the other quarterbacks have any confidence if like many have said that Perry is who richt wants to start. Also if Perry does come along how richt wants what happens with Artur Stitskowski?

outstanding work. thank you, D$

on the QB's, I was at the scrimmage and sat with the parents of two players, and they said this as we watched the QB play:

the coaches really like evan and think he is mentally off the charts when it comes to absorption and understanding of what the offense needs to do. he has great leadership skills and the kids on offense will really rally around him. athletically, he is, like you said, very underrated and can move not only in the pocket but downhill as well. His demeanor and decisionmaking are impressive. but, as you said some of the easy throws end up in the dirt and it's due in part to the fact his hand still bothers him. the injury from last year is still a drag on him, but they do expect it will get better over the next few months. when his hand is not a factor, he can grip and rip and that's when you see the ball on the money. not unlike a person with arthritis who sometimes loses muscular control. he works through it, and you will see a lot more consistent accuracy.

No offense to anyone but expectations are way too high for this team this year. First year QB's with average offensive lines almost always struggle on the road against good teams, just the way it is. I expect the following year to be an 11-1 type of year depending on schedule. If we win 10 games this year it will be because of our Defense. JMO

not going to lie, i am concerned QB is going to me a mess this year.

Anytime you have a freshmen QB starting you better be worried, they make mistakes.

The lineup of McDermott/Darling/Gauthier/Donaldson/St. Louis got a ton of reps and did a very nice job in pass protection. The first team QBs had more than enough time to throw against a nasty DL.

If they can do it constantly against our D, they should be able to do it against anybody we play this year, including FSU!

It's about time our OL is forced to get better by our dline studs!

The problem were running into now (not sure if you picked up on it yet D is with letting recruits watch sherriffs & Ryan Collins lil brother is they're getting worried about us moving forward. They need to see our offense isn't this regularly. Because it can become a double edged sword. Some may see the opportunity while others may be scared away because they feel we can't compete. All I'll say is a certain 2018 qb commit left this weekends scrimmage comparing us to other teams he's seen & talking a bunch of **** bout how the offense looked... let just hope most of our kids are leaders and not followers.

Bruh, if nick Saban can convince three 5* WRs to commit to him after that **** show last year and after Jalen Hurns almost singlehandlh killed Calvin Ridley draft stock not to mention having two other 5* WRs on bench as well..Richt should be able to tell these kids his hand picked successor ain't on campus yet and to trust him.
