He was handcuffed for a reason. And this isn’t about brown. Even if Emory ends up 3rd he still is going to rs don’t know why y’all can’t understand that
Not arguing a RS just tired of hearing jaccuri is better. Jacurri is so inaccurate it hurts to watch. I hope he gets better bc I like the kid but Emory is better rn who knows going forward.

Bryant is not a DE. I was in the sauna with him sometime last year. Nice kid, BTW. I found him on the leaner side, even for LB. (Granted, he was a true frosh.) Anyways, him at DE must be some special pass-rush package because IMO he's not built for that spot.
So you know more about Football than Jason Taylor, got it

Bryant isnt 182 pounds. He can add size just may take more time. And Guidry is multiple he shouldn’t be given one spot and stick there.
By multiple, do you mean how Guidry used a 3-3-5 at times in 2023? Because that felt like it was out of necessity. If Bryant is a gifted pass rusher then maybe there's a role for him on passing downs but there are open LB spots up for grabs and they decided he's not useful there, and that doesn't bode so well for him imo.

I dont want to read too much into it off the first spring practice but it could very well be like a Flagg situation when all our DE's got hurt at the end of the year. When Guidry was running that bear front Flagg was essentially a standup DE getting after the QB. Bryant is prob a tad taller and heavier. That is also what Bryant did a lot in his HS tape. If we can find some packages for him as a pass rush specialist then I am all for it but I doubt anyone is looking at him as a 6'2 240lb 3 down DE. Goes completely against the body profile Mario has been building at those spots.

Lake just posted an article on the 2 deep at the start of spring ball. I had said Powell is not a Safety but a nickle and seems like the staff does as well.

CB1: DPJ, Robert Stafford
SS: Jaden Harris, Zaquan Patterson
FS: Savion Riley, Markeith Williams
Nickle: Mishael Powell
CB2: Jadais Richard, Demetrius Freeney.

Need to bring in a true Starting Safety and another CB (flo said that someone from Marshall may be backchannelled for CB already). I would also move Markeith to a Nickle until he is able to gain weight.

Also Thomas Gore is in the 2 deep... So add a DT to the spring transfer wish list...

You found him lean in the sauna, eh? 🙈
LMAO - please God tell me you somehow knew Malik Bryant was in the gym with his clothes on.

Not that you happened to walk into a sauna with a mostly naked young man and recognized him as UM player Malik Bryant.

You’re studying these practice pics and rosters images too hard. Do you have access to UM facilities? Or are you stalking player profiles for where they are checking in at on their social media platforms?

Yes and he always rotates how many down linemen he uses so there is application for a tweener to get some burn
