Can you please stop talking about the tight splits, Anyone that uses that as an excuse, knows nothing about football! We had a top five run game in the country last year, what more do you ******* want? Smh
They just want it to "look more creative" damned if its effective smh, this is the first time i've seen a fanbase complain about a top 5 rushing attack because of "tight splits" lol, if we handed it to the FB up the gut for 6yard per play im convinced they'd still complain about it.

I'm not starting a thread for this so I'll just dump this here:
-I saw Josh Moore Saturday. Every bit the 6'3" or 6'4" he's listed at. For comparison's sake, I think he's bigger than Cyrus Moss ever was lol. All kidding aside, decent build for a freshman with 0 college weight room experience until this year. I am excited to watch him. His frame should lend itself to some mismatches against DBs. I would love to see him get some 50/50 opportunities.
-I have an acquaintance who was on the team last year (not a scholarship player). He's not on the team this year because of school schedule, but he's really optimistic. The first thing he mentioned was that the culture is right. That's an interesting take for a kid 18-22 to say, so that's a positive to hear in terms of what Mario is building.

Made a couple nice plays today, including a TFL.

@DMoney,

Anyone else from the last 2 classes stand out that is being reported in the main scrimmage recaps? We know Josh Moore is, we know Ruben Bain is…Anyone else make plays like you just mentioned with Pickett?

If we're judging by reps at spring game, I think the staff likely agrees with Pringle's priority ahead of CWH.
You missed some of the previous comments boss. I am too lazy to explain my point. I will say that that is quite a bit of time ago and things are pretty tight-lipped now to make that deduction. But, to sum all, I never insinuated who I thought was better.

I want to know as well. I'm certainly not D$ but based on the information we have I believe that Brantley is doing both. He will play inside in our "Nickel" and "Dime" packages in the more traditional sense where he is covering a or one of the slot receivers. When it comes to the Nickel position that is prevalent in modern football Keonte Scott will start there and will likely be backed up by Damari Brown who will also provide competition and depth at outside CB and possibly Safety. Does that make sense?

Not sure I've heard D.Brown mentioned at nickle for a while, and any move to safety seems like fan speculation.

Gotcha. Admittedly, I haven't read every post in this thread. I'm equally lazy to go back and read it!

"Looks" stronger, "is" better? Come on man, what are we doing here. And did you even read my original reply in its entirety
He’s faster and he’s better! What more do you want, man? Let me repeat it again, he’s faster and he’s better. Do with that what you will.

I was hoping to read something definitive here about a certain injury but it's obvious that is not going to happen, so I will share what I heard.

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw XXXXX at 31 Flavors last night. It looks like it's pretty serious,"

This is the exact kind of back-and-forth you want in a scrimmage right here. The last thing you wanna hear is one side dominating. This is a good sign, just gotta get JoJo healthy and producing and we’re gonna be really good.

Who gives a F🙌CK! SMH our running backs are better than him this year!

And anyone on here that this surprises, is an idiot! This kid doesn’t have it and actually it’s not even close. He’s a career back up here or maybe if he’s lucky a starter at a group of five team but I don’t even think he has that talent.

Pringle is better than Humphrey!

Beck will produce just as many explosive places as Cam. Some people on here just don’t understand how good Beck is, and on top of all that, he’s a lot faster than Cam was.

Listen, I’m gonna say this respectfully, you know nothing about football in terms of controlling a football game and I know you’re gonna keep going with your agenda here but it’s stupid and it’s not realistic to how winning football is played at this level. The goal is to control the game and the way our run game functions, it controls the game. You want something different, that will never win a national championship, then go watch a different team. This is the type of run game that wins titles, don’t believe me, go watch Georgia or Alabama and all the titles they’ve won the last 10 years. It’s the exact same run game.

If you’re talking about Emery, if you saw him play in the bowl game or against Clemson or FSU, I think you know how that went. It went like crap!

Actually, the safety room looks good.

Martinez was very important but our running backs this year are better than him. Enjoy the show this year because that run game is going to be elite.

That’s a big SOB right there. Probably about 310 and playing like an upperclassman.
