I said that Yearby looked like a young McGahee in the spring time and I was laughed at. Fact is..he looks like a YOUNG McGahee. Willis was not 6'1 230 ON ANY DAY while at UM. He came in at 200lbs as a freshmen out of Central. He left here at about 220lbs. Again, we are talking strictly body type. Not speed. So yes I agree, Yearby has the body type of a YOUNG willis mcgahee. Lets hope he plays half as good as willis did.

you are still being laughed at. Last time Willis weighted 200 was probably sophmore year of HS. According to 2 sites I checked, he was listed at 215 as a HS senior when he signed his LOI.

Hurricanes Add D.J. Williams To Football Recruiting Class - University of Miami Hurricanes Official Athletic Site

He wsa listed at 224 as a sophmore.

And yes, he was weighing at 230 at and around the time he was drafted:

Their frames are NOTHING alike. Gus is closer to Willis than Yearby is. Yearby won't be heavier than 210-212 by the time he leaves college, imo.

You are showing your age buddy. First off, when it comes to HS recruiting, you are out of your league here. YOU have to resort to looking **** up online. (you must be under the age of 21) I SAW WILLIS PLAY PERSONALLY at MiaCen and I am telling you he wasn't a pound over 200 his SR year. Now Najeh Davenport was tipping the scales at 225 in HS. He was always big as ****.

But go ahead internet historian, look up your links and paste them here. LOL.

Been following recruiting lot longer than you think, young fella - you must have a teenager in the late 90s. Am I right? I was providing you actual links that showed his weight. I may not have seen in person at Central but I did at Miami. Can you paste links that show he was 200? I'll wait. And let me guess, you still refuse to believe he was ever 230?

Bigger contributor this year- Berrios or Njoku?

Good question looks like brad trust njoku in the redone, he threw that ball with no hesitation,i got njoku with mote tds and berrips with more grabs and yards

4-8? stop it. not a chance.

Schedule is pathetically easy and this team has the most important position on the field clearly definied.

If Golden can't find a way to win at least 8 or 9 games by accident this year....he honestly should consider a career switch. He's got used car salesman written all over him.

Getting FSU and Clemson from the Atlantic and Nebs OOC along with GT and mid tier teams like VT and Duke is far from pathetic.

Re-read every single word you just typed after Clemson. I repeat...P A T H E T I C

And in addition...this years version of FSU is going to take a step back.

So yeah...just because expectations have been slashed around here doesn't change the relative fact that a "normal" UM team would win 11 games, with that schedule, by pure accident.

Freshman nose tackle Kendrick Norton, the most talked about newcomer of early camp, forced a fumble Thursday.

“It was a really smart play,” said Golden. “He just tracked the ball from behind and ripped it out. Obviously he’s well coached to do that as young as he is, and the wherewithal to do that in your first scrimmage is a good sign.”

I am surprised that nobody on here as mentioned that quote yet. Hopefully Gorlden was talking about his HS coach.

golden and coach d keep saying we "finally have depth" so i guess that excuse is out the window.

I'm waiting until they take one of those weight room photos and these guys start comparing Jamal Carter to Sean Taylor.

LULZ at the Yearby-McGahee comparison.
He said "lookes like" and even followed it by "lets hope he plays like him". Only comparison was looks. Which he does. Not skills. Reading comprehension as bad as Al's coaching.

Safe to say gray is the fastest and most explosive back. Does yearby still look quick weighing 200 pounds. He has put on a lot of muscle it seemView attachment 31234

Every college football article on every professional sports media site refers to our schedule as being a tough one....but the football "geniuses" on here act as if it were a cakewalk. If our schedule is pathetic, that means schools like OSU are playing high-school level schedules.

Im on that Choc Train!! Holy Smokes! He's gonna be special! That size/speed combo is nasty.
