Good news all around. I'm looking forward to some surprising performances this year mann

Danny,

Thanks for the write up and thoughts! Like everyone else said I hate to get my hopes up, but the season is right around the corner and I always do. I can't help it, I only get to see my CANES 4 months a year. Did the OL play better than you expected, about the same, or worse? Who were your good surprises on the OL?

We are going to have a great year. Don't care what anyone says.

WE have had qb injuries the last two years. Our D-line is the best its been under Golden. We got the receivers and backs to make big plays. Our tight end position is probably as deep as it has been in a decade.

Rayshawn is back with Bush we got 3 solid corners.

The only thing that could really hold us back is the those petty locker room issues we had last year. But I think a lot had to do with the fact that we didn't really know who the leader is and the seniors did not believe in Kaaya. That clearly won't be an issue this year.

Vets Money Malc and Coley not separating themselves from the pack?

Fellas, don't set yourself up for disappointment.

Thanks for the report D. If we had only players life would be more pleasant.

Was kaaya accurate in the scrimmage?

Yes. He is a stud.

If Kaaya played for UCLA, USC, Or Bama, he would be the front runner for the Heisman trophy this year.

No he wouldn't because he wouldn't have played last year at any of those places. This year, he'd be a backup at USC, in a QB battle with Rosen and Neuheisel at UCLA, and in a similar battle with Cornwell and Coker at Alabama.

How did yearby, Walton and coley look?

On defense Muhammad, Carter, Chad, Kirby?
Kirby forced a fumble on Gus but had a couple bad fits.

That's my biggest concern about this defense this year. If we're not playing downhill more as a defense I don't trust Kirby to be perfect. He won't be Gaines, but he'll fall far short of Perryman. Add to that, our safeties hardly run the alley well and our corners seem immune to tackling at times.

I know mane it hurts to admit it that you were wrong and always will be.

So you willing to take on my bet or you scared?
