Rueben Bain commits to Miami

Respectfully think we’re reaching on this one. It’s understood Bain will play with his hand in the dirt and move inside on passing downs.

Russaw has the expectation to be a 34 OLB, especially if he signs with Bama.
**** on these rankings. We know what we’re getting.

IMO, it's more a problem with their position categories and individual writers.
Here's a portion of Malik Bryant's evaluation (by Ivins), who is listed as a "Linebacker" on247:

"Average measurables (believed to be just over 6-foot-2, 235 pounds) and a lack of additional length in the arms could turn away some, but body of work speaks for itself as he started as a freshman in Florida’s highest classification before spending the next two years producing at the national powerhouse that is IMG Academy. Might be best suited for a 3-4 look, but could also find a role in a 4-3 front, potentially even as an off-ball linebacker."

Now this I understand because he and Russaw are the same position.

And believe I am about as anti-247 writers as can be. But the Bain to Russaw comparison is apples to oranges.

I hope all the croots around the country are being sent this stuff.

We really have strong selling points for freshman PT, upward program trajectory and an offense/defense kids want to play in.

Once again F^CK ANDREW IRVINS

Every time he has to say something good about a UM recruit his face looks like he’s passing a **** kidney stone.

I wanted to start a Bain appreciation thread. Rewatched some of these games specifically to see what he’s doing.
He’s been a **** problem. Stats be damned! He’s causing havoc in the interior.

I definitely have crow to eat on Bain. I was worried about his build being effective at the next level. Thought he was not long enough for DE and not big enough to move inside. Very happy to be wrong about his early impact.
