Four-star DE and Top 75 player nationally commits to Canes. In the past two seasons, the Miami Central product has 105 tackles, 68 tackles for loss and 47.5 sacks.

Back in his recruiting thread (before he committed to us), I said that he was a sure fire 5-Star, and that he would be a monster for us.

There were posters telling me that he was too short and not heavy enough to be a dominant college player. I told them at the time that there were examples of guys like him already in Dwight Freeney and Elvis Dumervil, but some didn’t want to listen .

If he wasn’t held in so many plays, he’d be leading the nation in sacks as a true freshman.

I was ok with him being a 4 star I understood why. I did not think he was going to smack people, I thought to myself maybe he can do it cause Saban was begging for him. When he wants you bad on the DL that means you are violent, Im just shocked hes doing this in year 1. INSANE
