So an 18 year old understands that stars and rankings are an incomplete manner of evaluation but the “adults” on here are still obsessed with it. Interesting.
I think many if not most understand that they are incomplete but they are one of the only ways to rate rosters while creating another competitor aspect to following your favorite program.

That's why UF has more blue chips and we have a higher per recruit average. Every man we recruited is an athlete. No maxed out high schoolers. Love this kid. Quiet and humble and competitive.

#3 rated program in the country.

MIT
Carnegie Mellon
Georgia Tech

Your boy, D$, wrote me a letter of recommendation to help me get in. Only place I applied to. Didn’t really want a second Masters degree, which is why I said it was dumb.

It’s online.
That‘s awesome congrats.

Gotta have 4 CBs this class. Think of all the guys we're losing. Stevenson-Blades-Ivey...and then we have Couch who could declare although he shouldn't. I might be missing someone but that's off the top.
Just want to say, staff will absolutely not bring in 4 CBs this class.

3 if Cormani and Ricks (if he reclassifies) want in.

Likely, the number will be 2.

Also, we are not doing bad numbers wise at corner. Assuming all those leave we still have

Jaden Davis
Chris Graves
Khaumari Rodgers
Marcus Clarke
Iasaih Dunson
Daryl Porter
Malik Curtis

We are set up nice at CB numbers wise. Just have to develop that talent.

What we are seeing in OL recruiting is what really sticks out

I’ve said it a few times but OL ranking is tough to project but a lot of that is the kids aren’t physically mature yet so you’re betting on that part too

Our OL recruits are already there from a size standpoint and if they are teachable, that’s what is gonna matter to Mario and Mirabal

And of course stars matter but we also know how these lists get out there and then it just becomes gospel because no one wants to shift it around too much

I think you are spot on. Give me these kinds of guys on the OL . . . Desire might be quality number one for my OL. Hip bend/Flexibility #2. Big *** #3

9 CBs would put us at roughly two deep if we went Dime. Looking at it that way I'd have to agree with you. I just don't like it because it leaves little room for injury/off-field issues.

Mario/Steele/Strong also has to really like what they have in the Corner room if they're only taking 2.

We will see though. Obviously things are fluid. Maybe some of the freshman show how far away they are. Maybe an elite transfer becomes available.

I could see 3 based off the situation. 4? Idk about that, not from what I've heard.

I’m at the Eau Gallie vs Viera game tonight here in Melbourne. Stafford just caught a TD early in the 2nd quarter - blew right by the coverage. He’s playing DB, wideout and punt returns. Viera QB hasn’t looked his way yet and they are punting away from him. Definitely looks the part so far.

He reminds me of Sam shields when he played corner

Alright - so first impressions of Stafford in person - “fluid” athlete and deceptively fast. He never looks like he’s going full speed but he is just a step faster than everyone else on the field.

Offense - probably only played about half of the available snaps for EGHS offense but had two big catches including a TD on a deep route. There was one play early in the 4th where he blew through double coverage; would have been an easy 50 yard TD but the QB rolled out the opposite direction and didn’t see it.

Defense - apparently Stafford has only played CB for one year, but he moves like he’s been doing it for years. He looks like he’s moving at half-speed compared to everyone else but never loses coverage. Viera QB only threw in his direction once and it was nearly an interception. Will be interesting to see how well he plays against better offenses and wideouts.

Special Teams - it appeared that Viera had a game plan to not kick to Stafford at all. The one time they did at the start of the second half he returned it 40 yards and would have housed it if not for his own blocker running into him (video below)
