These kids are not interested in Ed Reed or what he has to say. They aren't interested in what an incredible player he was. The OL didn't care when McKinnie came to practice.

The people interested in Ed Reed, and the reason why Manny/Blake attached his name to the program, are the ones they are trying to sell tickets to. This isn't rocket science.

Pineapples and Oranges.

I will give you the quote again because you clearly didn’t read it.

“I'm limited in what I can do, I can't be on the field coaching, I am here to mentor these kids. I'm here to assist coach Manny in everything he needs. I'm his right hand - it's whatever he needs, man, whatever these coaches need. I'm here for them”

I absolutely did read it. Both times. It still doesn't justify your belief of him working a few hours a week, which is ludicrous.

I will say it again. You're making assumptions, based on very, very little.

You did not address all the things I mentioned he CAN do. You did not address his job description and the duties the position entails.

You're making an assumption, and a very stupid one at that.

1) McKinnie isn't in the Hall of Fame and the greatest to ever play his position.
2) The job is Chief of STAFF. STAFF does not mean players.

Apparently this is rocket science.

He is not aloud to coach the players or he in team meetings during the spring and fall. And since he is apart of the staff, he is not allowed to coach players privately. It’s part of the NCAA rules. Only feeley and the other strength people are aloud to coach them. What else would he be doing that would make him be at Miami every day. This job isn’t as big as it seems

I don’t think he is allowed to sit in the team meetings or film sessions. He is not a coach. He literally said himself the job doesn’t have a lot of responsibility. He is just their to motivate players.
This isn’t true

He said himself he can’t be coaching, but he can walk around and evaluate practice. He said that HIMSELF

What are you talking about? He can absolutely coach players privately and attend team meetings in the spring and fall. He can literally set up times to watch film with him and correct/offer coaching. The limitation in this job is what you can due ON FIELD. You're running around this thread looking like a complete idiot.

Dude are you retarted? If a member of a staff was allowed to run “private” practices, then manny and the rest of the staff would be practicing right now.

You are about dumb as a bag of bricks and look stupid as ****

He is not allowed to coach. He literally said that himself. You are such a sped.

Were did he say that?
Diaz said it in his press conference, you are wrong period.

“It is another set of eyes that can see things that I can’t see at practice or at a workout. He can come up to me and say hey I am not liking the body language of this guy or the interaction between a player and player. He can go into the locker room after practice and serve as a mentor. Then he can help evaluate with everything we are doing. It is playing the devil’s advocate to make sure we are doing the right things.””

I don’t see we’re it says he can go in the film room? He will probably watch some practices when he is down there and give advice to coaches that will be relayed to players

That’s implied already, he’s a coach on the staff but not an on the field coach.

Who the **** said anything about private practices? What are you talking about? He can watch film with guys and offer coaching. He only can't coach on the field.

You said that he can run private practices. I have the quote right here from you “He can absolutely coach players privately.... he can set up appointments.” When he watches practices (if he goes to any), he is going to tell coach Diaz and it will he relayed to players

This is his job:

“It is another set of eyes that can see things that I can’t see at practice or at a workout. He can come up to me and say hey I am not liking the body language of this guy or the interaction between a player and player. He can go into the locker room after practice and serve as a mentor.”

Key words are body language and mentor
