Purdue DT Branson Deen Transfers to Miami

For everyone wanting bigger DT, on3 has us predicted to land Isaiah Nichols who is 6-3 315, and rogers is still iffy due to the transfer issues.

But I also want to point out someone who can be plan B Marquis Robinson from Auburn he is from Milton FL and should be a relatively easy sell to get him to come back "home"

Milton is waaaaaaaaay closer to Auburn than it is to Miami...I mean, if you had said "Emory Williams", then maybe you'd be more convincing...

is 6'2 290 really "undersized" in college football? i'm sure the staff could easily throw 10 pounds on him by the beginning of the season but I feel like the board wants a 350 pound dt who plays 2 snaps and is done for half a quarter rather than these 'near' 300 pound studs we've been targeting/landing

No we want 325lb DT'S with length that can play 35 snaps a game at 100mph. They are out there we just have to pony up the NIL and have Miami's admissions department on board.

Go Canes

Need bodies, getting bodies, and when camp rolls around they'll figure out what's up. I'm not a big fan of the portal chaos, but we certainly need it. In addition to that, these guys will be more college ready than any incoming freshman.

JHH flashed early in his career under Manny and we did what we always do when someone flashed and that was make him out to be way better he was. JHH is just okay, he has at least played P5 snaps and can be disruptive when rushing the passer but as an overall player he is just okay.
Amen x 100000
We have been recruiting mostly jags in the trentches over the past couple years
And jags will flash occasionally but they always fall back to being a jag with enough snaps
We take a couple of throes flash plays and ignore their overall body of work
It’s like so many on here have a problem calling our players jags

Was gonna say the same thing..probably 3ish hours to Auburn and 10ish hours to Miami from Milton. It's way up there in the panhandle.

Watched a little of his film looks quick and uses hands well. Will be solid and can hopefully hold up against the run. Probably better than LT56 but that will upset a lot of ppl here. Dude is a consistent contributor the last few years for Purdue. Should finish with 20+ tackles and a few sacks.
He had 50+ tackles and 5.5 sacks last year. Why would you assume his production drops?

I love Milton, but it's closer to the Texas line than to Miami.

I'm not kidding.

Im ngl i did not google where Milton is I for sure thought it was around naples :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Also did more research and he did only play in 2 games so like cribby said production over bodies. Lets get Nichols and Rogers

L post by me :ROFLMAO:

All good. I've lived in Florida for most of my life, I know where all the little towns are...

Wasn't tryin' to nitpick you!

He is a near-archetypal jag.
