I'm not really sure what you guys want me to say... I could make a negative comment for every positive play just because the offense and defense are going against each other in practice...

I'm just reporting what I see.

Just because you don't see something posted, doesn't mean that group is struggling.. For example, the tight ends have looked solid in practice, the balls just weren't thrown their way today. The pass rush hasn't been incredible, but remember these are vanilla schemes right now, there's not much blitzing.

Tried pointing this Out yesterday, but apparently most of you guys didn't see it...Telemaque hasn't done much, Mike James has looked OK, Chickillo hasn't been blowing things up.

You guys have to remember though that this is PRACTICE (AI voice), I give you what I see and that's it. Does it mean Duke will win the Heisman this year or Tracy will have 10 picks....no. I'm just trying to give you guys an idea of what's going on, that's it.

pete stop explaining yourself must be your youth. You do not owe these guys anything. Let them complain it's envy trust me. I work around envious people its keeps them coming back because they need something to complain about.

Keep doing what your doing. You wont please everyone no matter what you do.

Keep doing what you do. Ignore some of the losers on this board.

-There was a snap over the punter's head in special teams work. = Negative

-The Player-Coaches today were Mike James, Allen Hurns, and Vaughn Telemaque...Kendal Thompkins played a lot in Hurns' absence and AJ Highsmith played in Telemaque's spot.

-Flowers still starting on the right side.. Didn't see Seantrel at practice.
Seantrel not being in practice is a negative

-Grimble and Clements had a little scuffle. Bad for team chemistry = Negative.

-Lockhart had great catch over Gunter. It seems like he's making acrobatic catches everyday. Gunter got beat by a freshman = Negative

-Morris had perfect throw to Dorsett on perfect coverage by Tracy for a TD. If it was under thrown whatsoever, it would have been picked off or knocked down by Tracy.

-Morris had probably his best day of practice yet and Williams looked very good as well. Pass defense was getting torched by both QB's even the back up = negative

-Herb Waters had a great practice. He beat Finnie deep for a long TD from Williams. Finnie got beat deep = Negative

-None of the DBs can keep up with Dorsett, he has been the best WR throughout the first week of practice.

-Ramon Buchanon was back after coaching yesterday, and he was playing strong side linebacker with the first team. Armbrister was on the weak side, with Denzel in the middle.

-Smith/Pierre are the 1st team DT right now with Luther Robinson and Curtis Porter pushing.

-Deon Bush had another nice play in backfield, coming up to tackle the ball carrier.

-Kendal Thompkins nice rebound day after struggling yesterday. KT struggling yesterday = negative

-Kacy Rodgers dropped an easy INT off of morris, but made a really nice play to get in position. He seems to have a good understanding of the game. Kacy dropping an INT = Negative

-Armbrister had to go to the locker room with what seemed like a cut on his head. Cut on heads that require going into locker room = negative.
-Rashawn Scott had a solid day. He caught a number of screens and slants and picked up solid YAC.

Hope you negative nacy's are happy now.

Bicho is optomistic for 2013. 6 wins and a self imposed bowl ban and Bicho will be content with a productive year.

Keep em coming, hairy Pete!!! If anybody doesn't like the practice reports, feel free to get off your dead *** and go to practice......I'll read your reports too.

The news you provide Peter is excellent- I couldn't care less if it's considered positive or negative so long as it is accurate (we all want it to be good, but not the Baghdad Bob crap we got used to at Grassy). Thanks for keeping us informed.

Dorsett is fast, that's a given, but I'm a bit concerned none of our dbs can cover him

Practice highlights

Miami's defensive line tightened up this morning, allowing only limited gains on the ground until RB Duke Johnson found a nice lane and ran for a 40-yard touchdown.

Both Morris and Williams took snaps with the first-team offense Thursday, and the chemistry between the signal-callers and their wide receivers showed.

After not seeing anything downfield, Williams showed off his decision-making and athleticism, taking off for a 20-yard scramble. He later tossed a 40-yard pass to freshman WR Herb Waters, who then pushed down a defender near the goal line for a score.

You responded pretty well to constructive criticism of your past reports. You didn't focus so much on the freshmen and you included some negative observations as well.

I'm sure things can always improve, but I'd say you pretty **** good job on today's report.
