Paul Williams on Jaquan Johnson: "He’s one of those guys who comes around once in a lifetime..just a natural player."

Art Kehoe on OL Jahair Jones: "He did the work he needed to...a big, physical guy. We’re anxious to see him develop."

Larry Scott on DE Scott Patchan: "He comes from a great football family...he's what being a Hurricane is all about."

In two years Paul Williams, golden or Dorito will be taking veiled shots at Jaquan saying he's too slow a la Tracy Howard

Anything under the max we can take is self imposed sanctions. Makes no sense at all, unless they plan on finding 5-6 guys over the summer.... somewhere....
Looks like we are done for day.

Going to sign 19 LOL and ranked in the 30s. Can't wait to see who we offer after signing day. Complete failure.

I think we were limited to signing 20 max today.

Why would you even suggest something that isn't true?

Forgot about Norton, we may get him

Al is using this class to balance things out. See he got a lot of heat over losing to teams with lower ranked recruiting classes. Faced with choice of coaching better or recruiting worse he chose to lower his recruiting to match his coaching ability.

Pete got played again. Dex must have not had a commitable offer.

It's amazing how Golden just keeps getting worse at everything as a head coach. In his 4th season, no less.

His 4th year he loses the most games in his time at Miami, and he signs his worse class at Miami.

PROGRESS, JOE! PROGRESS!

This class is current Miami football in a nutshell, an utter disappointment

Al trying to sign less players on NSD than he had verbally committed the day before.

The short answer: We did not have many seniors on the 2014 roster.

The math looks like this:
+75 on the 2014 roster.
-12 seniors departing
-2 juniors leaving early
-1 transfer (RL III)
+5 early entrant signees

+65 on the post 2014 roster

+84 max allowed on the 2015 roster

This means that we can sign 19 today.

Why? We played well under our limit last year, and should be able to play at 84 scholarship players this year. Why only 20?

we have a reciting profile on King?

I never heard of him. I don't even know what position he plays.

Did Chatman sign with TCU or still undecided.

King is a LB, smart player from what I am hearing. Not blazing fast but quick enough and hits hard, can read plays from facebook and other things I have read online.

Why are you counting the EE as not apart of this class? I clearly said we are signing 19 in this class, I said nothing about today.

When people say we signed 19-20, its pretty obvious that they are talking about the whole 2015 class.

We will enter the season with 79-80 on scholarship if we have no attrition and don't sign any Golden after signing day specials.

My sauces tell me that some kids in New Jersey are about to flip to us...

Agree, Howard would be just fine if we let the ******* kid play. They cut off his balls just like they've done with the rest of the secondary.
