What's going to make this awful day even worse is watching Golden use his trademark PR spin through the media to try to defend this haul. No media member is going to ask him the tough questions (neglect of Dade & Broward, disgraceful CB recruiting, worst class yet by far despite cloud being gone, etc.), but he'd dance around them even if they did.
This class has a few potential standouts, but as a whole it's going to set this program back multiple years. We were never even in the running for a five-star talent. Only a few four stars. It might be the slowest class in Miami history. An overwhelming amount of misses at WR, LB, and CB for a team with this recruiting base, which is beyond unacceptable.
But hey, we'll flip a two-star LB and probably toss an offer to a QB whose only other options are Columbia and VMI. What a day.

Its a good class not a great class. Obviously hard to predict how it will turn out on the field. I like Gordinier.He has size and instincts on film. We havent had a heady instinctive linebacker since Dan Morgan.
Losing Williams was a boneheaded move if he goes to ND,but they did get played by Scarlett who some say knew he was going to UF weeks ago.
The only consolation is the 2016 class. That will depend on the teams record next year and who might replace Golden if he is fired.
Trayone Gray might be better than Scarlett athletically but we will see this spring if he soothes the loss of the decomittment.

ESPN already went in on Goldielocks while talking about UF and McElwain. They know he sucks and this class is considered a failure by Miami standards.
Even though Golden will never answer tough questions or say anything of substance, ESPN better hold his feet to the fire when they have him on later. They need to ice grill the living s*** out of him for what he's doing to our beloved program.

Like fans put too much emphasis on stars and rankings? Don't focus on these things. Our staff knows how to recruit and evaluated talent. We just need to trust them. Back to fantasy island!!!!!
