How many years have at been hiding the playbook for the big upcoming opponents?

Why not execute your full offense and get better at it?
I have no idea if that is the case. But it was obvious, and the commentators even mentioned it, we were conservative in our play calling.
I'm just trying to be hopeful we still have a lot to show.

I have to say this. There was a reason a lot of fans wanted an offensive minded head coach. Mario talks a good game. Mario runs a good program. Mario is a good figurehead. Mario is not a good game day coach. Mario does not get the most out of the talent at his disposal.

Now I sure hope he gets things turned around, but this team looks boring as **** so far. We're going to get the crap kicked out of us a few times if we don't pull our heads out of our asses. I saw what happened to Mario's Ducks last year, and it will happen to us. It's just a matter of time.
If that’s the case Mario won’t last long here either. Stubborn coaches don’t last long here

I don’t think our staff cares that this offense is boring to watch, it’s meant to be. On good days it will wear down the D and then we’ll get the fun plays. But their primary goal is to grind down the other team physically. If there’s going to be any flash this year it’ll be us running our regular *** plays and the other team f*cking up.

As long as we win, I can live with that but it won’t be pretty.
We average 3.8 ypc vs SMiss. What do think is going to happen vs a decent defense.

This is near Enos level stuff.

Our o-line isn’t good and backs are average. Gattis is at least creative with his run plays u like Lashlee. It’s a lack of talent more than scheme in my opinion
Creative run game couldn’t average 4 ypc vs a 3-9 SMiss team.

Always lack of talent excuse. You think SMiss has D talent. Give me a break. Garbage scheme.

Where was GB3? Also has Agude played I don’t remember him making a single play so far this season 👀? I didn’t see Ladson today…and I would love for us to find more ways to get Breshard Smith on the field even as the outside receiver
I had the same question about Frierson. Where was he?

Did you see our O-line today? They were awful? Then our Rb ran into the back of our terrible lineman most the game.

The second we started to hit them for bigger gains
So whose fault is it the OL can’t handle SMiss? The OC?

What’s good about a “creative” run game if it sucks?

Outside of LTs 2 plays, Dline was underwhelming. Great run defense tho. SM had a big oline, but tf in first career snaps looked really good. In some ways better than tvd.

Worried the warnings about Mario ruining qbs among other things as a corch may be true.
How exactly would a head coach ruin a QB?

I think it's time all these guys see more PT:

- Arroyo, as noted.
- Porter: sure, he got Moss'd. It happens. He was there and turned around. On a pass play some time before, he was sticky.
- Wesley and Chase. More and more snaps as the season goes on. Neither Steed nor Flagg did anything wrong necessarily. It's just a matter of what these younger kids are capable of doing.
- Gotta try something at Edge. Not sure if Kelly is ready, but something has to give. We need more upfield pressure.
- If AWilliams is really quitting the team, I'd like to see more of Balom some time soon.
How can Balom get snaps when we cant even find snaps for Tae? Blades been playing safety for like 4 months, he got all back up reps on lock.. Tae cant even get on 3rd down packages.. sheesh..

Yeah HC can ruin QBs by not running an offense that doesn’t fit their strengths.

One would say being gifted a generational QB like Justin Herbert and losing a bunch of games you shouldn’t is kind of criminal too.

This is a horrible O fit for Mallory. He needs to be split out and use his speed in space. This O just does not fit him. It showcases his weaknesses more than his strengths. Horrible, horrible fit. He knows it, and is struggling like **** to get his head in the game because of it.
Yep. He’s a gesicki type that should be lining up in the slot or out wide at least half the time

I watch from the WEZ, so the play was coming my way. What did the announcers say? I was wondering if Mallory got redirected on the snap and Mallory just didn't tighten it back up toward the hash?
Mallory was just running and never got his head around in his rouyte. TVD through it to the spot..almost throwing him more open to catch and run. He needed to snap his head around quicker in the route.
