could tell by CMR's answer on the Joe Rose show this morning that he was making the move..... Here's to hoping Perry gets us out of a 16-17year QB rut.....

Glad that Richt is finally making the move. Need JJ and Ahmmon healthy though going into ACC play.

I'm more concerned with richards at the moment

just what in the ****.

My optimism just cautiously went back up..Cautious because a few other areas still need to show a lot of improvement..OL play and run game will automatically look better just having a competent QB in the game

PS: Should be a lot fewer chances for shanked punts

I was skeptical of Richt committing to change but you don't just play Perry the whole game on a short turnaround this week and not expect him to start. It just wouldn't make sense if he sat Rosier the entire game then started Rosier vs UNC.

If Perry can move the ball Feagles becomes less of a problem but he still needs to be replaced. But I'm more interested to see how our O-line run blocks because I'm not 100% sold that they improved for the long haul. UNC is one of those games we should be able to run the ball on them but for years even when they've had 90ish ranked run defense we still struggled to run the ball on them.

As for Perry, unless he goes out there and throws 4 interceptions I don't know how he could possibly play worse then Rosier. Rosier would give you 3 TDs 2 Ints on 52% passing. We just need 3 TD and 0 or 1 int on 62% passing and we should win in a blowout.

People just need to step up, I would love to have JJ and AR ready for ACC play but I dont want to rush them like they did AR last year and never be 100 percent. That being said we have so many weapons at WR we should be fine without production going down, what I'm worried about is the safety position.

over 28 games Malik's percentage completion is 53%
over 3 games Perry is at 66.7%

Malik % completion has actually dropped 2 points from 2017 to 2018.

bottom line: Malik is a 50% passer. that is what the stats say that he is and he will never get signficantly better than this.
Perry has too few games to get a good sample size but he has the upside

If you want to win something significant we need a QB that completes a lot more than 50 % . PERIOD!

Anything on Jaquan or Ahmmon or are we just focused on getting them ready for FSU?

Just saw someone said Ahmmon still on the bikes... very odd injury.

JJ and Steed were working out w training staff

Agreed. I think it's fair to say that Jaquan means much more health-wise to the team than Ahmmon.
