Scared money don't make none.

If Richt can't get him ready for the speed then there's a disconnect in the preparation because there's not a faster Defense Perry see's than Miami in practice everyday.

Obviously he's not going to look as near perfect as he did vs a weak FIU team, but it ain't like we can't draw up enough TD's plays to put the game away.

We beat UNC on the road with Rosier hitting on the Deep ball for 356yds 3TD's while simultaneously only completing 42% of his passes with a 48.1 QBR & only rushing for 59yds total as a team.

Our run game will be better this game & we'll be at home in The Rock, even with minimal game manager QB play & a conservative game plan we should roll.
Nothing scared about my comments, friend.

It’s a fact that it’ll be a bigger challenge for Perry against a faster and better team this week and an increase in pressure with the national Thursday night audience watching. I want to see how he responds to these additional variables because they are significant differences from what was happening a couple days ago against FIU.

The greats ratchet up and don’t get tripped by the spotlight and the bump in competition; they relish it and pick their game up even higher.

I have a feeling based on how cool he seemed in his first real action that he’s a gamer. But we’ll see in a couple days. I can’t wait.

Wasn't saying you were scared, I meant that if Richt is worried about it then something's wrong with the prep because Miami's defense is the fastest & toughest he'll see all year, except maybe BC.

Perry needs to sell the fake “keep” much better (Rosier was pretty good) but his elusiveness is much more natural than Rosier.
You can’t overstate the effect on a defense of properly carrying out the fake. Keep on running the play as if you still have the ball. Bret Favre was a master of it even faking passes after the give.

Steve DeBerg might be the all time great at it.
