Muhammad Commits to Miami

For the second year in a row at the Army All-American game in San Antonio, Al Golden and staff got great news. Last year, Tyriq McCord and Deon Bush announced that they would be signing with Miami. This year, 4-star defensive end Alquadin Muhammad announced Miami as his choice and should give the ‘Canes a pass-rushing boost as early as next season.

Throughout the process, most expected that Muhammad would declare for Notre Dame. The ‘Canes had been recruiting him hard for months before he took a surprise visit to Miami on the weekend of December 7th.

Muhammad is an elite pass-rusher with a great first step and quickness off the ball. At Miami, it’s likely he will play a hybrid OLB/DE role.

On the Reynolds tweet, of course other big targets will pick Miami...it's one month from NSD. But Muhammad isn't the reason those kids will commit.

LOL @ Golden leaving Miami for ******* Wisconsin or Tennessee. This guy is recruiting with both hands tied behind his back and a kick me sign taped to his shirt and he's still cleaning up. This man knows that in a few years he's going to be kicking other teams square in the ****.

I heard this too and it's from a good source. I'm not messing around either. Of course, silent commitments from out of state kids don't mean anything except that we have a big lead.
