Miami squarely in the mix for Rudolph

Like him a ton. With our #s we could still add him, Lane, Dixon and Berrios to go with Langham and it wouldn't even be going overboard.

Most dynamic of the WR recruits. Would be thrilled if he joined the fold. And this offense suits his skill set.

This THE U. We never had on campus stadium, but we have 5 five NCs. Miami is not a college town, it is an interantional city famous the world over. It has two major univerities and and is home of the only perfect team in NFL history, three time NBA champ Heat, two time World Series winner Marlins, and even a hockey team. Kids can go where they want, but there is no place like THE U. The closest thing is USC but I don't think their NFL team prefered St Louis so it must not be that cool there. If a kid doesn't want all that then go be a big fish in a little pond. If you want to swim with the big fish, come to THE U.

By the way, the best WRs this year is whichever ones pick come to THE U. We are indeed back and what was true in the day is true again.

This is the kid that publicly blasted our coaches over some stupid nametag with the wrong position, right?

I don't think I would call it "blasting" the coaches, but yes he was upset. It wasn't just the name tag, he was upset that they were recruiting him at corner.

This. Plus you had two different coaches telling him two different stories about what position he was going to play. One said corner, the other said wide receiver.

Ah, so you're one of those weird muther****ers who get offended over something that probably wasnt true. And FYI, it was quincy Wilson who got mad at his nametag. It said "LB" instead of "safety".

Word?

“It’s just the little details like when I went to Miami’s junior day and they give you these name tags that identify you and below your name it has your position. They didn’t have ‘athlete’ for me, just strictly cornerback so that right there ****ed me off because they were telling me receiver and then they had cornerback on there. So it’s little details that are red flags for me.”

If he gets that ****y about a minor detail then dont want...last thing we need is a drama queen in the locker making a big deal because there is a wrinkle in his jersey that the staff did not iron out....

It's no different than Sony using the gameday atmosphere trash as a lame excuse

Coaches will vibe with you and be your best friend during the recruiting process but once you set foot on campus all that *** kissing goes out the window

give me Dixon and Rudolph. not sure about the Berrios kid

The campus atmosphere always is the knock on miami.

Never heard a recruit not impressed with UM's campus. Have you ever been on UM's campus? It's fcking paradise.

I never get this, how can people be so naive?

People say dumb **** all the time. They have somehow construed our off campus stadium situation into our campus somehow being undesirable.

I think canefordays was referring to the gameday atmosphere in the stadium, not the campus itself. He just worded it poorly.

It will come down to the campus atmosphere, my vibe with the coaches, and if I see myself living there for the next 3-4 years. I’ll make the best choice for me on-and-off the field.”

The campus atmosphere always is the knock on miami. The off-campus stadium and a relatively poor fan base gives us a bad look.

I loved my 4 years at UM, there is no school that could match it.

Lord. Me, too. And the "campus atmosphere" has only improved with the new facilities.

The most annoying part about that was, that isn't exactly breaking news. It wasn't like Miami had been selling out every home game for a decade and then just all of a sudden couldn't put fans in the seats. So that ****** gameday atmosphere that supposedly turned him off to UM, was the same ****** gameday atmosphere when he was feeling UM. It would be one thing if he came out said it was the threat of sanctions or he didn't like the new coaching staff compared to the old. But one constant that has remained the same the whole time is now a problem? ****outtahere with that.

I don't think Rudolph mentioned anything about gameday atmosphere. He was talking about campus life.

Yup. Kid has lived on our campus his entire life and then all of a suddenly, our gameday atmosphere isn't enough for him. Ok kid, just be honest.

Some of you guys sound like you would be ****ed if we flipped Lane and UF ended up with Rudolph! LOL. I would not complain at all. Let them settle who is better 3 yrs from now.

Well what do you expect after they sign?

Kids that don't sign, coaches are barred from contact.

Kids that sign are in the program, they have work to do.

This is life, Person Y graduates top 10 from Yale (law school). A couple of big firms recruit Person Y, they wine and dine him. Person Y decides to go to Firm X. Person Y starts work at Firm X and is now a PAPER *****, he is the low man on the totem poll.

Question for those who seen Rudolph, Lane and Dixon play live and say Rudolph is the best out the three. What is that y'all see live, that I may not see by watching a highlight vid, to suggest that? (I ain't an expert and know theres more to evaluatin than just vids, so just curious)
