I know both teams extremely well. Canes fan since I attended in 1989 and now have ND Season tickets because my kid goes there. Huge CFB fan and make a lot of money betting. Spread is right, because this game is a tough game for both teams. Great sign for the Canes, because if Notre Dame had Beck they would be preseason 1-3, team is loaded. Canes are much more talented then this board’s consensus and if I was making the line, I’d have Canes -1. It’s really a toss up. Can’t wait. Been a while since I have been to a home game. Made at least one game from 89-2010 and not sure I have been back since. Have seen them on the road many times since.

Last time they were here somebody threw a glass bottle and broke their buses window?

Hope the atmosphere is electric, but safe. We get the reputation of it being otherwise, and we’ll be stuck in the ACC forever.

This line will move to -4.5 ish for Miami by August when it is clear Beck is playing and healthy.

It’s amazing to me that people think what happened when not a single player or coach from either team was around matters this upcoming game?
How about the year before when a 3 win ND won (2016)? Or before that, a blowout in Chicago (2012)? Or before that, an embarrassment in the bowl game (2010)?
None of those 3 games matter, just like 2017 doesn’t matter in 2025 with all new coaches & players on both teams.
Freeman obviously isn’t Kelly.
He beat a ranked A&M team in front of 110,000 wild fans last opener. He beat Georgia in the deep south. He won the last Orange Bowl just a few months ago.
He isn’t crappy Brian Kelly.
Need more than home field to win. Defense has to be WAYYY better this season.

All that matters about our last game against them is the atmosphere. We can look at that atmosphere and say it had a big impact, and hope we get similar impact/turnout this time. And if we start the game hot, maybe the atmosphere and crowd can really give us a big advantage like it did then. I hope the crowd shows up like they did for that one.

Can’t talk about how many days left until the game without a booty gif offering

Trumpycane thinks if his biggest claim is beating a 5 loss A&M team and a UGA team without their starting QB we will be ok

You failed to point out his losses to Louisville, Marshall, Stanford, Northern Illinois

You know why those losses were awful except UL?

Their offense is super basic, not sure if @Memnon agrees, but that offense isn’t winning you games, but can cost you games

If we can score 24 or more points then we will win

Pretty simple game plan: stop the ND run and we just might win…handily. Very tough task, however, as the Irish OL and RBs look great.

On O, I’m looking for Beck to use our TEs and RBs as receivers early in the game. Get time of possession and explore mismatches. If that works, we can work in the longer routes to Jojo and others.

My ideal? Get an early lead and force ND to try their passing game before they want to. Let Bain and Mesidor loose to attack the rookie QB.
Same strategy to beat Rutgers. What could go wrong?

**** that. We're stuck in the ACC no matter what. Let's break some isht.

You don’t think it’s happened before? Lol

ND is loaded enough to overcome that.
Doesn't mean it will happen.....we not trash as you want to be the black sheep of the board to say you are right. It's like you want to have crow croquettas.
