Miami is getting a very well-rounded Safety prospect. A lot of Safeties in high school are simply deep field defenders who are there to defend the pass.

Jones had 82 tackles and 3 sacks from the Safety spot, which shows that he is used all over the field.

In his tape you see him blitzing off the edge, you see him filling the alley on runs, making tackles near the line-of-scrimmage, playing deep and playing low zones (flats).

The fact that we've been able to do this with him (as a 9th and 10th grader) displays his high level IQ and ability to retain information.

He's a true Swiss army knife.

He is all that. I expect him to have a good shot at a 5th star in the end. Macho, trying to fill Miami's DB room. Keep up the excellent job, coach.
