1. Ric Flair

3. Hulk Hogan (note: his career length, promo skills, and draw overcompensate for his lack of in-ring ability in a major way)
4. Stone Cold Steve Austin
5. Sting
6. Bret Hart
7. HHH
8. John Cena
9. The Rock
10. Randy Savage

I should have prefaced my post with *during my lifetime*. So, Wahoo and Bruno were before me.

I loved Steamboat, he was just never a top guy and he wasn't very good at promos. His career was put on pause a lot because of his back injuries. But man, in-ring skills were tremendous. Him and Savage at WMIII is a classic and easy top 3 match of all time.

Per ChatGPT:

"Miami's recruiting staff posting that image is a quiet flex. It's basically saying Duke thought Mensah was locked in, but by the time they realized what was happening, he was already gone.

Portal era reminder: if you're not recruiting your own roster 24/7, someone else is. By the time you look down the hole, it's empty."

for promo skills, Hart doesn’t get as much credit as he should. Yet I think he has the single most iconic line ever and it transcended wrestling:

“The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be"

Not enough love for Hart on the mic.

Dusty's prime was before my time. From the mid-70s to early 80s, he was injured a lot (because of his physique) and he moved to more of a booker and promoter. Then in the mid 80s he started his best work as a babyface to the horsemen. But he was severely limited in the ring and Magnum TA was a bigger baby face than Dusty.
