Thoughts on Mayans? Keep this new found thread open!
I liked Mayans almost as much as Sons. I like shows that kill off characters when you least expect it.

I was hoping for a bit of a different ending; what I'm not sure but you knew once they found out he was done.

Sutter (although he didnt get to finish the show) always has a lot of Shakespeare in his themes. So for the show snobs who think it has no depth and was just violence you arent as civilized as you think

THE WIRE ISNT ON YOUR LIST MAJOR PROBLEM
Never watched it to be honest. I see y’all talking about it here a lot, just haven’t given it a watch yet. What’s it on?

A few honorable mentions that got left off.

- Mandalorian, he’s probably the coolest character on TV
- Better Call Saul, was good but just didn’t quite live up to Breaking Bad
- There are several shows that were legit but didn’t have enough seasons to qualify, or are currently still running, like Penguin and Last of Us.

Game of Thrones should probably make the list too just based on the sheer scale of the show alone.

SuperHero: The Boys, The Penguin, The Punisher, Invincible,
Fantasy: GoT, Avatar Last Airbender & Legend of Korra,
Sci Fi: Last of Us, Mandalorian, Walking Dead (first 3-4 seasons), Stranger Things, The Expanse, Fallout, Star wars Andor,
Crime: Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Justified, Dexter, The Wire, Jack Ryan, Barry, Sherlock, The Mentalist, White Collar, Reacher,
Comedy/Sitcom: The Office, Futurama, Fresh Prince, Friends, South Park, Chapelle Show, New Girl, Scrubs, Ted Lasso, Alway Sunny in Philly, The League, Archer
Drama: House, Suits, Silicon Valley, Friday Night Lights, Queens Gambit, The Good Place, The Last Kingdom
Historical/War: Band Of Brothers, Shogun, Masters of the Air,
Documentary: The Last Dance, Hard Knocks, OJ made in america,

I'm probably going to watch Severence, Dark, and Yellowstone at some point. Hear all are good.
No House Of Dragon???? Wow...
Props for The Boys.... Hopefully the last season goes beyond anything else they've done....
Also , What we do in the shadows just finished it's last season...Sad to see it go.... really funny show...

Edit - A friend told me to start watching Letterkenny... said it's funny... I'll probably tackle that next...

House of Dragon yeah, and the upcoming Knight of 7 Kingdoms will likely be great as well. Though theres basically only 3 short stories already released with that. So who knows what they change with the plot. They changed some HotD stuff, but at least the way Fire and Blood was written there was a lot of room for interpretation. All ASOIAF stuff has been relatively great though..... now if we could ever get Winds of Winter.... Cause the ending to GoT was horrible after like season 5/6. Changed waaay too much from the books. I'll never get why these directors and writers on shows have excellently written books to go off of and just fundamentally change the plot. Like the Witcher... Could have been great, S1 was solid, then they just decided to make no sense...

We should be in great shape for another couple years at DE with Lightfoot, Blount and Lowe anchoring the outside. Looking forward to seeing McConathy back, and Pickett and Scroggins with more S&C under their belts.

Pickett gets pressure when he has been in a few games the last couple years too. I think he can be a player, even if never a force against the run.

Agreed. I was editing my post to add him in so didn't see you correct me. We have a solid nucleus.

I have him ahead of Bryant at Jack. If he was 230-240lbs, kid would be getting more reps
