The amount of depth and versatality this roster has is unparrelled for this program, especially in the frontcourt.
There were seasons with L (and even last year with Lucas) where we had ZERO quality bench bigs. We now may have 3 or more.

Stacked, but not deep. It was actually pretty slim on depth, especially when Reggie got hurt, and Bishop Daniels quit.
I often think about that team. You'd think with the way they shot that night against Marquette they would have lost by 25. If they could have hit a few 3's in a row to jumpstart a run I think they would have came back.
The 2016 team was **** good too but ran into the eventual champs in the sweet 16.

YEAH well at the time. We didn't know the entire team was sick... I found that out much later. At the time I was super bummed and thought they choked lol

It’s really not much to go off of; & yet…….the Bahamas practice-footage-glimpses had Robert Miller III wetting a 3 and Caleb ‘just turned 18 last week’ Gaskins passing from the perimeter to Cyril for the finish.
If i had to guess, Miller/Reneau/Goode will switch between being a 3 and 4, yet Miller then Reneau will have the most time on the wings at the free throw line extended while Goode is more of a corner 3 or short corner man; all 3 of them will be roll guys and get touches on the block ofc.
I think Rhyzov is going to play and have that backup 2 spot secured; he turns 22 in ten days and is like a cocaine bear out on the hardwood. Being a fish outta water makes it hard to tell how much will translate but he looks extremely comfortable switching onto guards off the PnR. I don’t envision many if any lineups without one of Cyril or Rhyzov on the court.
I have a tuff time seeing Birden getting burn this year; except for in select blowouts.

With Malik, the depth this team has is incredible. Definitely built to make a run.
I know Florida has a really strong front court with who they return but man our front court starting pair is legit as ****.

A big rotation of Malik, Cyril, Goode, Miller and the Russian is crazy talented and versatile
belt to *** in the players era, when they smack michigan by 20 and then zags by 25 that title game with tennessee gunna go crazy
