No more Mahoney and no more Jahair Jones. The sun is finally shining again.

Bar Milo is gone, too, correct? Cleaning up the slop ... unfortunately, a couple of the OL kids Searels/Richt took in this class are stretches, too. They need to get their asses into the S&C program immediately or risk the same fate. As least their frames are right, unlike Hayden's.

I dunno. We’ve seen some OL be pretty bad here only to finish strong in recent years.

If we had some amazing depth it would be one thing.

Oh well. Best of luck to him.

Because he's hot garbage
This is stupid. He literally rated our best OL per pro football focus 2-3 times last year.... which maybe speaks to how bad we are there. But also means we shouldn’t let him go for depth purposes since our 6-7 guys are unknowns and we have guys like Campbell, Reed and all of these years guys that haven’t played. His performance on O is much much much better than say Mike Smith on D. We don’t have the depth to get rid of guys that have started extensively there.

You saying he’s garbage is a much more garbage comment than his actual play

He might have known what he was doing, but physically he was the weak link in the OL.

26 scholarship players gone since the team began the season against LSU. That's about 1/3 of the roster.

When is Robert knowles leaving?

Kid is just enjoying being at Miami, his football career is over when his eligibility is. He knows it, which is why he hasn't even bothered to transfer to lower school where he would actually play.

except he actually plays here. He is on all special teams units and is a rotational player. I dont know if you all know this but you need guys to play special teams. Not every recruit starts 100 games...guys like Knowles in the back end of the roster aint all that bad.
When you realize Kacy Rodgers was in an nfl camp this year and has made professional football money you will realize why guys like Knowles hang around.

Agreed. Rodgers, Shields, etc are guys you can point to because they were skating the line with athleticism, desire, etc. Knowles is not that kinda kid IMO.

JJ told the team that schollies are good for one year. You want another year, go earn it.
If it works for CMD in today's CFB landscape, I'm all for it. But it is like walking on a tightrope today.

I'll never hate the kid because he just wasn't good enough. I will criticize coaches that continue to play guys who just aren't good enough though.
