Excited for the Gaynor era. He will make some mistakes but I think he will set the right tone.

Mahoney's real value next year was at backup C. It will be interesting to see how they address that spot.
I like Gaynor's disposition.

IIRC, he was a frequent feature in your reviews.

I mean, no, I did not think he was a good player here. I don’t think he’d be a good player next year, either. We are going to be a better team without him on the field next year.

That said, the dude did his best for the program that I love and the amount of work these players put in is immense. For that, I thank him and wish him well.

Tackle: Kennedy, Campbell, Herbert, Brown, El Gammal, Nelson

Guard: Donaldson, Scaife, Reed, Hillery, Dykstra

Center: Gaynor, Clark

Wish him the best. Richt would of had him starting and named him captain.

Thanks for your efforts as a Cane and the Best of luck in your future, young man.

Good Bye

I felt it wasn't a good look that he saw the field as much as he did over some other more talented prospects. Whether that was an evaluation or developmental issue is a question I look forward to seeing answered. I have my suspicion.

Manny already said he's looking for another GT because of this decision. If Boulware hasn't spoken with pro agents, maybe Barry can go get him back? He was straight-out insane to declare. A year under a NFL assistant coach would be a win/win.

As our new OL coach has been here approximately 5 minutes, I assume he didn't have a hand in this decision?

Pump ya'll brakes on Gaynor, wouldn't be surprised if Dykstra makes a run for the starting job. And this is coming from somebody that was very critical of the Dykstra offer.
