At least he could tackle. Some of our current guys can't.How dare you...
How dare you...
Disrespect Ryan Ragone like that.
After looking at some videos, I see him more as a SS with the potential to move to LB if he keeps growing. He looks 6' and 190lb right now.
Man I don’t think there was a single coverage play in his highlights lol.I love the idea of him at safety
Exactly. Like Bomsu I see Star or LB down the road. All this arguing over whether he is a safety or a linebacker and no mention of the fact we also run a hybrid position (Star). Need guys for that spot too.
More importantly...who cares. Get fast athletes with good football skills and see what happens.
Somebody had mentioned 4.5 forty on another site. From what I’ve read..,
- great closing speed and is physical
- from the Richmond area
- was an unranked kid as of the end of last year
- BV probably recruited him while at Clemson
- fast riser - might be a 4 star soon enough.
Am curious to see what kind of speed he has.
You nailed it! That’s exactly what it is and it’s a beautiful thing. Professional Organization is what’s being established at Miami. This one smells like Zo had a hand in this eval.
I didnt see it mentioned but this kid also played both ways (running back and safety) at his previous high school.
Certainly not a top half of the class recruit, but there's some comfort that those kind of guys have real P5 offer sheets this time around.Do we care about this athlete?
JAG or potential to be real contributor??
I will say this...with Big Manny's rough start to the season that comprises Y1-Y3, he hasn't yet appeared to have lost steam in recruiting.
Critical for him to bring in his guys at a faster pace than Ls piling up over next 36 games...
his/Clemson's LBers were better than anything we've had since DP. They were enough to help them win a couple Natty's so yea, give me more Clemson LBersHis linebackers were never anything to write home about at Clemson. Maybe I’m star whoring and someone can break it down for me lol.
Here we go again, some of y'all are already starting to talk like this 3 star dude is going to be All American. I am hoping he is depth material at worst and we land better. Hope he turns in AA, but time will tell. We have to stop getting hard ons for 3 star guys.
Thank you... All American and "hard on"? Making up narratives in his head. You have a sick compulsion to mope in every positive-leaning thread.
Nobody said he is going to be an All-American. We are 7 weeks from the December Signing Day that involves about 70 to 80% of the Signing Class. You can "hope we land better", but then you don't say who we should be targeting. This is what evaluations are all about, who cares what Rivals or 247 or (god forbid) on3 think?
Nobody is getting a "hard on for 3 star guys". People are curious about this kid because almost nothing was written about him previously. Stop exaggering a "get to know our latest recruit" thread into some fictitious Heisman campaign.
Looks like a shorter James Williams. A safety that looks and plays more like a LB that does not wrap up and you never see him in pass coverageWho is a good comp for this kid?
That shouldn't be the barometer. No, how many are in the nfl?
