CJ Carr (who is an absolute baller).
They return nearly all of their defense including the secondary.

Although they lose both Love and Price, Williams is returning and he averaged over 9 yards per carry for them. They also add some interesting portal guys including DT Brewu.

on a team that finished with two losses and another very manageable schedule outside of playing us at home in November (possible bad weather in South Bend.

I would def put them in the top 5 preseason for next year.

1. Miami
2. Oregon
3. ND
4. Indiana
5. Texas

With OSU, Tech, UGA, BYU, and A&M rounding out the top 10
Oregon and Lanning are vastly overrated.

Oregon has a 76% blue-chip ratio according to rivals. This is the highest blue-chip ratio since money is no object. See attached link:

Oregon is comprised of soft people.

I would love to play them in the CFP.

Oregon, Georgia, Texas and Miami are most talented teams. OSU and Indiana will be down from last year as they lose too much and do not have the horses behind them. ND is top 10 but not top 5. Other teams all have holes.

CJ Carr is cool, don’t think he’s an absolute baller though. Williams avg 9ypc against syracuse, Stanford, navy, and arkansas. I think their portal class is about as good as anyone in the top 10, they cancel each other out.

What did they do to improve overall? Another year in their defense and 2nd season starting for CJ Carr. That’s not enough for me to think they improved from last season. Which is what they need to do for me to think they r a certified top 5 team. I think the best teams r Miami, Indiana, Oregon, and Texas, after that I have no idea. There schedule is easy so they’ll be a playoff team.

Notre Dame has a really good team. They uncharacteristically loaded up on DL in the Portal, which is smart given their weakness up front last year.

The question for them is whether they can replace the big-play ability of Love and Price. Explosiveness has been their weakness in the past and they lost their most dangerous players.

Oregon ahead of us is disrespectful. I know he’s a big Mario guy so he means nothing by it, but Oregon is a weak *** team. All flash, but bullied by real teams. I hope we see them in the playoff.
They only known for uniforms, still till this day. That’s their lore

Facts. Oregon is the best in the country at marketing themselves fooling people to think they're a big dog cuz they have way more bright colored Nike's than everyone else.

Holmon Wiggins and Lyle Hemphill is probably the worst coordinator duo in the top 25 conversation (probably the top 30ish teams in the country)

Elko calling the defense gives them a slight leg up from where they could be. But I think they fail pretty badly this year

Agree but my post was referring to UT

Don’t think you really want to be any higher than where we’re at. Being top 3 is almost a madden jinx with JP at this point
