Oregon ahead of us is disrespectful. I know he’s a big Mario guy so he means nothing by it, but Oregon is a weak *** team. All flash, but bullied by real teams. I hope we see them in the playoff.
He also is a big Dan Lanning fan. Propped up ORegon all last season

A lot of uncertainty at the top for all teams. You could argue UGA changed the least from their 2025 team. It's just that their 2025 team wasn't that good.

Don't we do this every year with Texas? I'll believe Sark can do it when I see it

Oregon over Miami is dog crap mixed with stupidity, wrapped up undeserved hype, surrounded by garbage, that has been allowed to sit in the sun for 2-3 weeks. I absolutely reject that.

Miami is a top 5 team in 2026. Period. The other four teams I'll at least listen to the argument, but Oregon is egregious. Anyone that says otherwise is someone whose opinion you shouldn't pay attention to.

So we're questioning Miami's OL but not ND's who had 2 guys declare early and starting center had ACL surgery in late October?

I think they lack talent at WR, drop off at TE and obviously RB, a mediocre DL, good LBs but the best player had ACL surgery in October or November, and a good secondary but still majorly overrated because of Leonard Moore. Gray and everyone they took out of the portal are mediocre.
I think their defense will be much improved personally… they did well defensively in portal imo. And offense they got some young talent at WR from Ohio st just unproven yet. But I think both were former 5stars, right? So tbd. But Carr may be what top 3-5 qb returning in CFB next yr? Oline I think ND generally can be expected to have a good OLine. And outside of their performance against us they seem to have been quite good…

I was literally about to post this. I don’t know if UGA can be much better offensively but their defense could be really good.

Outside of UGA every team has some questions. New players, coaches etc. Not saying UGA is perfect just they’ll probably be the same grind it out team for a year ago.

Everyone else is breaking in new coaches or major roster changes. I feel like 1-10 is super close. I wouldn’t rank us say like 8 or something. But 8 is just a stones throw from #1 imo.

I mean they didn’t really play anyone. I personally Carr is a good QB. But no Love makes things more difficult for him. Regardless, ND will win at least 10 games this year. I’m glad we get them later in the year. No reason we can’t have our offensive kinks worked out by then.

why though? Honest question because I rarely, if ever watch their games.

I know indiana dog walked em and beat em earlier in the season but wasnt that their only losses?

Then they return **** near everyone on their roster and I know they lost their big TE that was basically their #1 WR and I think they had a **** good S or CB leave, otherwise lots of retunring talent. Now I agree no way they should be ranked above us but idk why it would be so egregious to have them inside of the top 5?

this is the same jackass who said bama belongs in the playoffs bc theyre bama and nothing else. hes a ****. also lol at Indiana at 3. my feeling is they take a HUGE step back this year

The media infatuation with Oregon never seems to subside. I dont get it. And I am not impressed with the Ohio State coordinators. I can see Indiana, Notre Dame, Miami, Texas, and Georgia being a way too early top 5.

Impossible to say how good Carr will be in 2026 since he didn’t really face any half decent teams other than a mediocre USC after the TAMU loss. And in that game he went 16/26 for 136 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. -7 yards rushing with 1 TD. Not exactly electric numbers. Even in the Pitt game he threw 2 INTs to go with his 2 TDs. Personally I don’t think he is even a top 10 returning QB.

Yall riding with an overhyped texas team.....again?
Holmon Wiggins and Lyle Hemphill is probably the worst coordinator duo in the top 25 conversation (probably the top 30ish teams in the country)

Elko calling the defense gives them a slight leg up from where they could be. But I think they fail pretty badly this year

Also started up with the SEC schedule being best. Last year proved that narrative has to be put to bed.

They didn’t play anyone last season. The teams they played that were good beat them. Talent level wise they r about the same, probably worse since they lose Love and Price.

I think they’ll be a good team, but about the same as last season. The only thing that’s going for them is year 2 for the DC and defense.

What’s so loaded about their roster?
CJ Carr (who is an absolute baller).
They return nearly all of their defense including the secondary.

Although they lose both Love and Price, Williams is returning and he averaged over 9 yards per carry for them. They also add some interesting portal guys including DT Brewu.

on a team that finished with two losses and another very manageable schedule outside of playing us at home in November (possible bad weather in South Bend.

I would def put them in the top 5 preseason for next year.

1. Miami
2. Oregon
3. ND
4. Indiana
5. Texas

With OSU, Tech, UGA, BYU, and A&M rounding out the top 10
