Ya'll are on some drugs.

1. Cronk ain't no scrub
2. Cronk ain't going anywhere

Cronk averages 11 yards a carry in Dade county. I don't even know what some of you are watching, but I see a very speedy, shifty back who could very well help us that many schools wanted. Strong and compact, very well built, fast and great hands. Can catch out the backfield. Stick to your day jobs. Cronk is a key to this class.

All of them, all 4 are great backs. And all have their own skill sets.
Me personally I believe Walton has the highest ceiling of all of them.

Walton - Mix of everything, the do it all, the jack of all trades. Kinda reminds me of Sony Michel.(Don't hate, Sony is a very good back)

Cronk - Speedy and shifty, effects the passing game too and effective on special teams like most recent Oregon star RB's. Also has the ability to be a good safety or play some receiver.

Williams - Freakazoid athlete, Probably the fastest of the group. Percy Harvin comparisons are pretty good. Dynamic.

Scarlett - See him in a mold like a young Marshawn Lynch. Good speed for his size too.

I would take all 4. And the staff would not pass it up either. This is a GOOD situation to have.

SO. If Miami takes 3, Cronk won't be one of the 3 because of Miami or because of Cronk?

Because of Cronkrtie

If he doesn't want to compete then he should of never committed. What if Duke decides to stay and we have him, yearby, Gus, tuck? He still would ride the bench for a 2 years min!

You don't know jordan if you think he doesn't want to or like to compete. If that was the case he would have never went to the high school he did. It's more about holding the staff to their word for him more than just a numbers game as well. There are some other factors but it's definitely not about competing

When the staff was saying they were only taking two RB did they discuss Walton's reclassification being part of that final number?

I understand that but I'm sure the staff wasn't expecting Walton to reclassify.

Hopefully Cronkrite stays with us regardless of RB numbers. He's a great prospect.

Another site said that Cronkrite is talking about decommitting from da U if Walton end up in the class of 2015. So, we could end up with just one RB if we don't land Scarlett.

Cronkrite's not decommitting. What I can tell you is that UM has said since day one they are only taking 2 RBs and if/when Walton becomes official it will be on the staff to figure out who they let walk. I know what the staff has said about Cronkrite and how they feel about him but words and actions are 2 different things.

No way Golden doesn't want Scarlett, Williams, Cronkite, and Walton if they all want to come here. After Duke we only have Yearby and Gus, but Scarlett, Walton, and Williams are all better than Gus. I think if Duke leaves early we very we'll could land all 4.

We are not at the point where we can just say no to the top players, regardless of what position they play. Personally I'd rather have these 4 and not get a running back next class.

Frank Gore: "I could've gone somewhere else and started right as a freshman," Gore says. "But you look at the competition I had in Miami: Najeh (Davenport), (Clinton) Portis, (Willis) McGahee, Jarrett Payton. When you go up against the best of the best, you're ready for any type of competition."

Cali, the only point I don't agree with you on is not recruiting a RB in 2016. You never stop recruiting RBs (see Duke Johnson 2013)

Well i get that but what I was responding to was someone saying we would only take 2 this class, and the coaches were assuming walton would be in next yrs class. But what im saying is id take all 4 this yr and none next yr then only choose 2 and somebody else next yr, bcuz i think these 4 are really good.

If we had to pick, Scarlett or Williams?

I pick Williams over Scarlett but I will pick Scarlett over Cronkrite. This is going to get very interesting very soon. I wish Mark Walton would have stayed as a 2016 kid, if that would have happened I honestly think we could have had a strong chance to land all 4 of these studs.

Walton--that's what I was thinking.

Who says it happened too fast?? It's been in the works for a long time and he's been trying to reclassify for a long time now. Not sure about this happening too fast.

You could be right. But something smells fishy. The original story was that it was because he failed kindergarten. Then it turned into him having to take two online classes in the summer and we were not led to believe that these classes were basket weaving and home economics either. Then all of a sudden, BOOM!, he is good to go and is re-classified? If it was that **** simple why didnt he do this 2-3 years ago? Sorry I just think this has "red-flagged" written all over it. I will be very happy to be wrong. But this goes back to my original statement that there is a reason we didnt stop recruiting Scarlett if we are only taking 2 RBs. (even if we were only taking 3)

(And to your point, if this was in the works for a long time, why wouldnt the staff just shut down RB recruiting once Cronk and Williams came on board knowing that Walton was virtually in the bag too? They had to have known he was that close, right?...)

Falied kindergarten? Are you serious? I never heard of anybody failing kindergarten. Do they give out grades now in kindergarten? Spilled the fingerpaints on a little girl's frock instead of smearing a picture?

So, he got held back in kindergarten but passed every year in regular school since then? Things are getting weirder and weirder.

How can you take an online course in basketweaving? You weave a virtual basket online? Crazy. You got to have a those things you use to weave a basket in front of you. You've got to have the teacher look at what you're doing and tell you how to do it right. Can't be online basketweaving....no way.

And finally, no boys take home economics. At least not when I was in school. No boy would get caught in home ec. Serious. If you want to take something relatively dumb, boys take shop. They stll have shop, don't they? I know this is the era of all kinds of gender confusion and all that, and, in California, now people can walk into the wrong bathroom claiming their transgendered, but I don't see regular boys taking home economics. That's for future housewives, so even a lot of girls won't want to take that because they want to be lawyers and doctors and so forth. I can really see it now, all kinds of guys walking into the girls' bathroom because they want to take a look-see, claiming that they feel like they're really girls inside. Yeah, right.

you trippin hard. Home Ec was easy as ****, all the broads be in there, and they get to eat food all the time. I wish I was able to take it in HS, but my electives were already spoken for.

When I was in school, no boys took Home Ec. That was probably long before you were in school. Back then, boys were boys, and girls were girls. I'm surprised they even let boys into home ec, unless they were certified to be *** or at least metrosexual.

"Playing running back, I would have had to put the whole team on my back and I wasn't ready to have to carry the whole team on my back. I wasn't up for that challenge."

Am I wrong for taking this as this kid lacks a certain heart required to excel at the college level? Am I misinterpreting?

You want to go with a good class around u especially OL, it's why some kids choose Bama Lsu and Fsu to play with ballers

If we had to pick, Scarlett or Williams?

Williams for his RB skills and Scarlett for his recruiting benefits.

Williams RB skills are not his best asset it's his speed which is elite. Watch his film he doesn't run between the tackles and doesn't have RB skills but he has elite speed. Think Percy Harvin and Scarlett is more of a traditional back who needs to work on being a part of the passing game cause as of now he is horrible at that.

Scarlett all day, give me my Eddie lacy/Trent Richardson.

Please quit the internet....

He's right, they all have a higher ceiling and were rated higher also. Please quit the recruiting.

Having Scarlett commit would definitely help us with the other St. Thomas recruits.

Would feel much better about our S. Fla recruiting with Scarlett, Peete, Cronkite, Irvin, Clarington…. not holding my breath on Jaquan though.

Family and friends will keep jaquan here

I would be shocked if Jaquan doesn't come here. Kid loves the U. Always has. Killian pro miami school too. They always turn out really good prospects every few years.

I agree, the way things are going Golden may have to be bold and kick some current recruits out the door early to give them a chance to look at other schools, I would start with a couple of our linemen commitments. I honestly think their are far many better players we can sign then guys like Mahoney. Cronk is a baller. A class with cronk, scarlett, and Williams would be big for the program. I'm still undecided on how Walton stacks up with the only three, I don't think he has proved himself yet, wish he would of stayed 2016, but I do respect the fact he seems like a solid cane commitment.
