How does OC Rhett Lashlee set up big plays?

I think that every coach from high school up calls set up plays. Some better than others but its always about execution. Great coaches figure out how to get their players to execute what's in front of them. If you can't execute the setup play you can't get to the big play.

Incomplete and dropped passes, missed blocks and all of the other little details that fail us have to be fixed. We have the talent to execute against Alabama today. I don't even care if we can't stop them, we've got to be able to move the ball. A good offense has a surprising effect on the defense and the plays that they can run.
its all about timing when you set up plays obv we wish we gained more yards on the set up plays but that falls on the OL when we run QB power we actually get a extra blocker in the numbers game goes 7 vs 6 however OL execution was horrid at times in the Running game. I personally agree with you and believe we can execute vs bama with the veteran OL

I expect the OL to be the most improved unit on the field. And just as an aside the Alabama OL returns 2 OL and a total of 54 starts on the OL. Nesta, Ford and Harrison-Hunte have a chance to show the NFL what they can do on the big stage. They'll have the advantage of experience. Someone needs to shine. I'm betting on Hunte.

That extra time with the offensive coordinator is going to make miles of a difference. It's a more stable roster with a bit of experience and flexibility. Great work.
