Gonna need him ready for day 1 - need his frame given the other undersized DEs we have.
We will really need to convince Blount to come back cuz he's the only other guy with this body type. Bryant will be in mix day 1 no matter what but for depth these types don't grow on trees.
Convincing Blount and Lightfoot to come back is key. But yeah, as for the big body, Blount is essential.
Think odds are in favor of at least one coming back.
I can see Blount returning if he's a borderline first rounder. If he pops tf off though and gets a good first round grade, maybe not.

Today, I could easily see both coming back. 6 years ago? At least one would be gone.

Right and I think finding someone like Lightfoot that you can line up all over the field, even effectively fall back into coverage is more rare than what Blount brings to the table.
I like Blount and what he brings to the table, I hope he elevates his game but in today’s modern game Lightfoot is someone you can line up all over the field and he will wreck havoc.
It is. But we're subject to whats available. If options are mid then this becomes more vital.
