This is the exact reason that you don't allow knuckleheads to dictate your NIL funds. Let Simpson go find another home and we now have a kid who is locked in and wants to be here.
Fair to say even exchange. Kid has a lot of potential. But so did Simpson.
We’re missing the Blay replacement. If we grab Wilson at DE and truly move Blount inside then we’re good to go.
We don’t necessarily need the blay replacement. Blay and Moten started this year. Next year it will be blay and Scott. So what we need is to replace the sophomore backup role which will be Carter. Plus Blount will play some tackle. And then you’ve got some freshman fighting for snaps. I’m with you in tnag one more guy would make me feel better.
I see the logic I just disagree with it. We were too thin this year, got lucky with very few injuries. We need another guy with good production in the rotation.
Keep reading/hearing Blount will be at DE, with maybe the occasional kick in on passing downs. He’s not going there full time.

I actually do not really understand this. Guy was getting burn at the U as a South Florida kid. Looked good in a limited role. I doubt Missouri is outspending us for a guy we really want. I think there might be more to the Simpson situation we are not privy to.
Think he means he tried to play us for the NIL cash-in/power move and we called his bluff and had him hit the road. Don't think Missouri outspent us but I think his timing ruined it for him. Middle of a playoff run isn't the right time to try to force an NIL payday from Mario.
