Diaz, Banda, and Rumph scheduled to meet with Jobe Thursday

Manny Diaz, Mike Rumph, and Ephraim Banda will fly up to Connecticut on Thursday to meet with Miami commit Josh Jobe prior to his Alabama visit this weekend.

This is the second time that Miami coaches have seen Jobe in the last week. Coach Banda spent nearly the entire day with Jobe last Friday. Mark Richt has still not used his in-home visit with Jobe, which I am told is because UM would like to get the very last crack at recruiting him if possible.

Jobe has indicated to Miami that there is a chance he even waits until February to sign between Bama and UM, which would make Richt’s in-home even more valuable.

Don't recall anyone downplaying Juedy's talent. General consensus was he was the best WR from SFLA.

Jobe is not 20. He’s 19 and only 5 months older than Mark Pope who will be a 20 year old freshman like jobe next year yet y’all don’t throw his age around because y’all mad. Harley just turned 20 as a freshman too...

meh...what does the word commitment really mean to a guy like Jobe? From what I can tell not much. He may commit to Saban this weekend. I'd still wait until the signature before all said and done. Richt still has that home visit in the back pocket.

Jobe will turn 21 his 2nd semester as a freshman in college. I graduated my undergrad when I was 21. **** makes a huge difference. Stop white knighting.

It’s not white knighting you d*ckhead, it’s pointing out your inconsistencies in that argument. It’s South Florida that sh*t happens more often than not all the time with college football players . Bama recruits kids like that all the time every year.

I find this doubtful considering neither Harley or Pope had to forgo their senior season in Florida because they'd hit the FHSAA 19 year and 9month old mark. Jobe turns 20 sometime in the early Spring. He'll be 20 well before his HS graduation. Pope and Harley won't because they were able to play in Florida for their senior years.

White knighting Jobe is really admirable, considering his actions in his recruitment which has been nothing but a circus thus far. And funny that you mentioned Harley, because he definitely got his fair share of criticism. If Pope were to have handled his recruitment in the same manner as Jobe, he would've received the same treatment. Pope doesn't because Pope's been solid and has handled his business.
