Diaz, Banda, and Rumph scheduled to meet with Jobe Thursday

Manny Diaz, Mike Rumph, and Ephraim Banda will fly up to Connecticut on Thursday to meet with Miami commit Josh Jobe prior to his Alabama visit this weekend.

This is the second time that Miami coaches have seen Jobe in the last week. Coach Banda spent nearly the entire day with Jobe last Friday. Mark Richt has still not used his in-home visit with Jobe, which I am told is because UM would like to get the very last crack at recruiting him if possible.

Jobe has indicated to Miami that there is a chance he even waits until February to sign between Bama and UM, which would make Richt’s in-home even more valuable.

I think Pete's mentioning CB/S specifically, at least I'm hoping so. If he thinks he's the best commit in the class, than as [MENTION=1740]brock[/MENTION] pointed out - that's that Columbus bias kicking in. He's not more of an impact and talent than Lo or Nesta, probably not even Pope as well.

I think he would be the best DB in the class and top 3 player overall. That’s nothing about Columbus bias. Go ask anybody who saw him play down here and he was always the best player on the field

Don't disagree with best DB in the class (although I think Hall's slightly better). If the staff pulls Campbell, TC would be the better one. Just my opinion. Top 3, you're arguing semantics at that point. I just think Nesta, Lo and Pope are better. After that, I'd have Jobe/Hall.

Show me where I'm complaining about our staff. I approve of our staff recruiting him. My posts are more criticizing Jobe. The staff has done their job this year.

How did the fam afford Columbus and Cheshire Academy in CT? Pretty expensive private schools.

Look at the Miami fraternity and brotherhood. Josh doesn't have to go far to get help.

If my memory serves me right, foster was an AU lock due to trooper Taylor. Once he got canned everyone knew he was bammer bound. Foster never played his home school uga like what Jobe is currently doing.

Reuben foster first played at a highschool in Georgia. He then transferred to a local highschool in auburn . Flirted with Bama throughout, got an auburn tattoo. Then flipped on the last day to alabama

Too smart of a post for this board.

Simply put, if they didn't think he was worth the effort, they wouldn't be putting in this kind of effort.

We're going head to head with Bama. It isn't some other program, just the best in the land the last decade. He is rightly exploring Hey his options.

We'll see what happens, but ultimately the choice is his. Sign with the team that's trying to rise to Bama's level or go with the heavyweight. Tough call unless you've been a die-hard fan all your life.

He may be “rightly exploring his options” but he ain’t doing it in the righteous way and hasn’t been for quite a while. Plant some **** in his room call the cops and let’s move on.

No. We actually convinced Jobe to tell us he’s going to visit in January. Big difference between what he says and what he might do.

Smart money has him already signed with Baga once January rolls around.

Or he strings us along and goes ahead and signs with Bama in Feb. But this fruit loop is signing with the klan. I’m smelling it.

All of that happened because of no trooper taylor. It was clear cut and dry.

There is no good reason for what Jobe is doing/has done other than blatant trolling.

A far better comparison is Jordan Scarlett, not foster.

He is also a 1 or 2 yrs older than most of the commits. Was he better as a 17yr old sophomore that the seniors his same age?

Jobe is 179lbs. Lulz. My female cousin bigger than that. Dude's a shrimp. He'd get beat down by 90 percent of the gymrats and thuggish mma types at my gym.
