Demetrius Jackson update

Booker T. Washington OLB Demetrius Jackson (Miami commit) sent this tweet tonight: "I'm committed to my teammates and Booker t Washington ... that's ... will focus on college after the season .. decision time after season"

I asked him about the meaning behind the tweet and he told me that he is still committed to Miami.

The kid's recruiting picture is him shooting a layup, he is a joke to fool around. Call me when you get a stat in a real game.

Doesn't really matter to me. With that said, looks like those screaming go ahead and lock him up before others get on him are clueless just like I thought.

Seems like a lot of people are overreacting over this kid. Who cares where he goes to HS, he's never played a down of HS ball. If he wants to look around so are we.

Honestly, this is a joke. If this is true, he has no real playing time but has a committable offer from Miami. What more does he want? How could this kid look around? Is Harvard giving him a ship? Amazing stuff!

This is the problem with instantaneous information when it comes to recruiting. The reactions are overblown. The one thing that is justified is that he's BTW and to be wary at this point of that school.
