Reminds me of when all the saps praised Donna for getting us into the ACC.

Guaranteed money regardless of performance has been the death of this program. Socialist handouts destroy the necessity of putting a good product out. Adidas is paying is gobs of guaranteed money for 12 years. So for 12 years, we don't have to be good and we still get free money.

This deal is another in the long line of finding ways to fund athletics without having to field a good football team. The nerds strike again.

This

Sapp said this n got blasted

He kept it 100 I knew ole boy wasn't lying

LOLOL at Miami's logic:

Nike starts de-emphasizing UM b/c we are god awful.

Instead of improving their position with Nike, the #1 brand on earth by a mile, by taking the football program seriously, they run to some half rate company that will make us a fake Oregon.

School is run by absolute retards.

The orange top/ white bottom and all white uniforms are easily the cleanest uniforms we have had since the early 2000s. I also liked the all white we had in 2014 and the white helmet, black jersey and white pants too

Adidas makes Yeezys, playing in yeezy cleats and the regular yeezy boosts should be a recruiting tool. Kids love those hideous shoes.

Adidas is dominating youth culture at the moment. Great move by us.

The Nike one looks like a Canadian uni. Love the Addidas

A lot of people were hating Blake James for the move from Nike, but he's looking more and more right on this one by the minute.

Adidias 1st unis were trash, glad they arent like Nike and force us to wear those for 6 plus years before they decided to change it.

Adidas really respects Miami as a program and brand and their commitnent to us is commendable. they can see how a great Miami program can push their brand to greater heights in the U.S.

A company like Nike is going to profit but when it comes to these corporations any loss is a big deal..they're going to regret how they treated us especially after we win a national title with Adidas stamped on the jersey.

Anyone can take our classic look and refresh it. Only Adidas can use modern "technology" to make something look worse. At least Nike can take creative liberties and come up with a decent product. Why don't you post the fist unis from Adidas that look like pure trash? Nike was the originator with this branding. I'm sure had the contract been up this season we would have gotten a better deal. Sad how it went down.

Anyone with an IQ above seventy, and wasn't married to a freaking logo understood that Miami HAD to leave Nike. Nike not only shortchanged Miami financially, their customer service in regards to merch was pure garbage. Coaches and staff had to basically beg for stuff, even when they were winning. Adidas provides more merch in a year, than Nike ever did. Nike NEVER provided alumni with merch, Adidas does that. Nike NEVER provided our basketball programs with extra merch, Adidas does.

When you are a school that is fighting against other institutions that pull in DOUBLE the revenue, and you stay with an apparel supplier that won't pay fair market value, that is dumb as ****.

We signed with Nike years after this classic look

Nike wasn't interested in paying ANYONE, the only thing that forced their hand was schools like Miami and Notre Dame negotiating with everyone, allowing other companies to step up. Remember, Nike is still paying schools like Alabama, Clemson and others peanuts compared to what they could get on the open market. Those schools can afford to be undervalued in that sphere, they make that money back on parking revenue, Miami doesn't and has to look for revenue sources. Yes, Nike threw a ton of money at Michigan and Tennessee, but those were moves designed to take momentum away from Adidas, which it failed to do. Adidas, which at the time of the Miami deal was falling behind Nike and UA is now a firm second, and have become the youth oriented brand Nike once was.

I can't help but laugh at all the brand marks that think that Nike provides some kind of cache. Coach L is recruiting better than any other Miami coach ever has, and he's doing it with Adidas. Even when Miami was struggling on the field, Adidas stepped up and provided the marketing support that the school needed. They bet on Miami, and it's about to pay off.

By the way, the last three Miami uniform templates Nike provided was PURE GARBAGE. The brastraps, eye brow, and whatever the last set were all looked like an intern crapped the bed. If it's so easy to recreate the classic look, why didn't Nike do it, and go from there? Miami never had a unique look while with Nike, we were given the same template as other schools. Our last template was shared with FSU, the only thing that changed was the colors. Never mind the fact that Nike was trying to force Miami's hand by giving them the new set in a contract year.
