CB Brody Jennings flips to Miami

The Canes got some momentum on their side with the commitment of blue-chip CB Brody Jennings. The 6'1, 190-pound Jacksonville native flipped his commitment from Michigan choosing Miami over the Wolverines, Florida State and Florida.

His brother Bradley is a former Miami Hurricane linebacker and his older sister Brittney Jennings is currently a sprinter on Miami's track and field team. His father, Bradley, who tragically passed away last month, was a standout linebacker for Florida State.

Jennings is ranked as the No. 24 cornerback in the nation and the 43rd-ranked player in Florida according to the 247Sports Composite. The Canes believe he is one of the top man-to-man coverage corners in America and specifically highlighted his ability to transition, footwork, hips and instincts.

Last season at Mandarin High School (alma mater of QB Carson Beck), Jennings totaled 29 tackles, one interception, three pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries. He was also the DB MVP of the Miami Under Armour Camp.

With Jennings on board, Miami's 2026 recruiting class now ranks No. 8 nationally, per 247Sports. He joins a promising defensive back group that already includes Jalean Waters, Jontavius Wyman and Camdin Portis.

More than likely, he was just another in a long line of jilted dudes who had an issue with me & just wanted me to give him some attention.

Definitely going to be curious what the composite looks like once this update is factored in, I haven’t been keeping tabs on the Rivals rankings but I’ve got the 247 composites at a few intervals to see the movement across the board.

Is Rivals now On3? They had J. Moore pegged early last year as a stud. Everyone else caught on near the end

My fandom has been under fire (pegged) since Cristobal got here.

It’s like watching a guy use high end groceries to make a burned grilled cheese sammich.

Need to really add some more speed, Stewart or Fitzpatrick. I do like Dunnigan, Cortez Redding, and Jennings though.

Jennings should be asking to play Nickel or Safety. That's the path to getting on the field the quickest if you earn the job.
