He got everything he wanted. So happy for him. Great football player and seemingly a great person.

But as far as exposure, not making the playoffs is the reason for all that. If Miami makes the playoffs and people get to see him play on that stage then the general public would have known what all Miami fans know. It's always going to be bitter sweet wondering "what if".
had nothing to do with the playoffs.

What an absolute blessing for us canes to have him for a year. He's an amazing person and a perfect example of what hard work and passion can do. It couldn't have happened to a better person. Go Cam! Go Titans! GO CANES!!!!!!

I was born a Dolphins fan but after 44 years of disappointment, I think I’m eligible to pick a new team to root for. Going to be a Titans fan from now on.
I’ll never be able to truly give up the Fins, but my husband has been fed up with his Giants for a long time now and said he may switch. We’re in Georgia so we loosely follow the Falcons. Thinking we may drive up to Nashville for a game.

I spent a lot is time in Atlanta growing up (my aunt lives in Cumming), but I couldn’t get into rooting for the Falcons for a weird reason - I just thought the team name was too generic!

I was just looking up the teams history- seems they got the name in 1965 after holding a contest for the team name.
Other options were:

“ Bombers, Rebels, Crackers, Confederates, Thrashers (which would later be the name of the city's second NHL team), Lancers, Firebirds, Fireballs, and Thunderbirds."

What a god**** shame the football world missed out on the Atlanta Crackers.

I live in Cumming myself. 😁

That is some fantastic history - I had no idea! What a shame, indeed. Calling them the Dirty Birds feels quite fitting though.

Edit to add - you do know where the Crackers thing comes from though, right? Georgia and Florida Crackers don’t refer to the racial joke! Google the history if you’re not familiar with the term. The short version is that it refers to the original cowboys from the area.

Welcome to the life of a Titans fan. Just an irrelevant franchise to the NFL. The friggin Jags get more love than we do. Hopefully Cam turns that around.
Barely mate, barely 😝. We Jag fans don’t have it much easier
