I’d take either of those guys as our actual kicker over this kid.
Carrot Top has been on a ton of juice for years. I’ll bet he’s good from 55.

I know others have mentioned it before, but if he's primarily for ST and if we're willing to pay for ST returners, why not allocate that money to Flowers?
Caveat: IDK what Marion got versus what UF gave Flowers and from all reports UF threw crazy $$$ at Flowers.
Marion is a proven ST player at the college level but from what I've heard Flowers is a difference maker/game changer on special teams.
I mean I'd prefer you to be talking about Colbie Young than Hykeem Williams.

Maybe because Flowers also saw what we had at CB going forward, and he wants to play at CB asap as well.
From the moment Flowers reclassified, we were pretty screwed in that situation, given we just took 4 portal CBs, Only lost 2 CBs from last years team, AND already signed 3 HS CBs. Granted NOW It looks better, the reality is what we need to add for DB is Safeties, not CBs.
I don't think the staff just gave up on trying to get Flowers, but even if the money is even, if he was looking at both situations, it's obvious where he has a hope to earn early PT...
Also Marrion is a WR at the end of the day, and we have a FAR larger need there even in terms of Depth. Marrion can absolutely be WR3/4 for us immediately.
