He must be getting some serious offers if he’s willing to leave Retzlaff. That’s an NFL guy he’s leaving.

Kid seems like he would be versatile, maybe give him some snaps at RB as well if needed but he would upgrade the special teams returners easily.

I like this take alot!! Not everyone has to be a thousand yard receiver bro looks like a football player! Need kids like this versatile Wr, return guy and can run it ohh ya a depth piece we desperately need

According to BYU transfer wide receiver Keelan Marion, he said on Twitter that he has been in contact with the Miami Hurricanes since entering the transfer portal, and they have made him an offer.

The 6-foot, 195-pound wide receiver hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, has also received interest from Arizona State and SMU since he entered the transfer portal yesterday.

Marion recorded 24 catches for 346 yards and scored one touchdown last season. He rushed for 96 yards on 21 attempts. He received All-American recognition for his kick returns, averaging 26.2 yards per return, and racked up two touchdowns on kick returns.

Marion began his journey at UConn, where during his first year, he made 28 catches for 474 yards and scored 5 touchdowns. After spending two seasons at BYU, he is now entering the transfer portal.

I’m for it if he can improve our special teams

He’d likely be a third or fourth option as a receiver but he is an elite returner and we don’t have anyone at that spot.

I think it all boils down to how much this dude wants. If we can get him for a reasonable number I’d rather do that than overpay the Syracuse kid who is the very definition of average.

He won’t be cheaper then Ny Carr but he will have more game experience and proven production so upgrade imo
Skill wise, is he really and upgrade from Carr? Idk I liked Carrs upside way more tbh. Does this kid have proven production, a little. That’s where he has Carr beat. He’s just not a starting caliber Wr, which we still need. The options are limited at the moment so I’ll take him for depth

this would be a great pickup if he can give us 1 or 2 td's on return game and 25 catches for 400 yards and few td'. He has very good long speed, so he can stretch the field and open up thing underneath. I think he is a stronger and little faster than sam brown.

Yes, we need another wr under 6ft to complete our Smurf village

Seems like an upgrade to me. Carr was very limited as of now as a receiver from all accounts. Couldn’t run the full route tree effectively. When you’re a 1 trick pony it’s hard to make a real impact. Add in this kids kick return ability, I’d say it’s a big upgrade.

Do this children have to give back NIL as they change teams each year for larger NIL ?

The thought of punnay in Miami versus the ability to get punany in Provo makes it an easy decision.

Surprised he lasted that long being from ATL
I’m glad you wrote “punany” a second time. I was wondering wtf “punnay” was until I saw the second usage. I assume you’re referring to this:
