We came a long way from guys like Dyoni Hill at CB mane

Bruh....as recently as 2019, this is a FULL DB class we signed:

Keontra Smith
Christian Williams
Te'Cory Couch

That was the whole class. Corner, nickel, safety, we signed three (3) kids.

A 5'10 kid we moved to linebacker, a kid who played sparingly for 1 year and wound up at a G6 school, and Te'Cory Couch was decent, but undrafted and has bounced around some camps but never been on an active roster in the NFL.

That was an ENTIRE DB CLASS.

2020 may have been even worse.

We signed Tae Williams (DNP -- Murder), Marcus Clarke (what?), Isaiah Dunson (who?), Jalen Harrell (when?), Brian Balom (why?), Keshawn Washington (how?).

It's almost impossible to sign 6 kids and not a single one ever made a meaningful play for you. Maybe I'm missing something. I know Tae had one pick, I think it was against a **** team in a blowout, other than that, did any of those 6 kids literally make a single play in a meaningful game? One play?

Too many people on here feigning outrage after kid drops from #1 (or 2 if you’re on a different site) to GASP #20. He literally announced this two days ago. He’s still a five star.

Try this out for a comparison. Once your credit score hits 720/740, you qualify for Tier 1 financing. If your credit score is 757, you don’t get better rates and terms than the dude with a 741 score. Same goes if your score is 840. So if your score is 757, there’s no practical point in getting worked up that your score isn’t 840. Then again, this is probably a terrible example for this forum because most of CiS pays straight cash money for everything and don’t need no stinkin financing.

And you forgot one thing..we were ABSOLUTELY talked into believing everyone of these guys had serious potential to be REALLY good especially Christian Williams, Jalen Harrell and Isaiah Dunson....CIS staff loved Brian Balom. And Marcus Clarke was a diamond in the rough.

And rankings still can change after the season is played if people care that much

I will add that Balom was consistently hurt. So maybe he could’ve/would’ve been good. But he was hurt the whole time he was here. The rest of those guys, Jesus H.

I might be remembering wrong but Isaiah Dunson I think ran a laser 4.8, I was a lurker at the time and the thread where people we're trying to defend that makes the Bryce Fitzgerald speed thread look rational
