Definitely play him in the area of most need for ball skills and athleticism,..DB. But, why not include some WR packages for him. Not like it’s never been done before. My question is, can we coach him up, will we coach him up?

Agreed. Fitzgerald, Pringle, Schott, Wiley, Wallace (when healthy), Lowe, Toney, Upshaw, and Moore are tremendous athletes. Gotta hit on most of them.

I've always felt like there are certain things you can't just 'teach' in football. Physicality is one of those things! If he doesn't want to tackle in HS, how do you address that in college, where everyone is bigger and faster.

WR seems to be the better fit for him here.
If he's charmin soft, just put him at WR.
He wouldn't be the first defensive player from Columbus HS who would switch to offense at UM as Alonzo Highsmith went from OLB to FB. Although Highsmith wasn't allergic to hitting folks.
