Pretty disappointing what these camps have turned into. Had some high hopes for them initially.

Which recruits haven't participated in an Al Golden camp that you would've liked to?

And keep in mind most of these big time local seniors watching, have in prior years and that is why they have offers already and are hanging out with current 'Canes all day building relationships instead.

Watch the underclass men, not the seniors...

The issue is our camp has turned into a place to simply earn offers and because of that we don't get a ton of top talent to show up. Go around the nation of most schools have a whose who show and actually participate for the most part. It's not a huge deal but Al Golden is basically a tool to find sleepers and none of the sleepers he has bought in have panned out.

I have plenty of issues with Al but I to disagree with you on this. It seems to me that he uses the camps as multi-purpose tool. First, the are affordable so any kid can come. That reaches out nicely to all kids but especially to local underclassmen who have not attracted the Slave Traders of the world yet. Also, it gets more parents and HS coaches on campus. Do not forget the horrible state of relations with all but a couple HS before Al got here. I think it has helped repair the backyard greatly. Also, I think it is aimed at kids in middle school too. He wants to get on them early and build relationships. We can't play the $$$$ game so he has to do things different. Bringing HC coaches on campus and building those relationships is of vital importance. Now, if the on field product does not improve quickly, none of this will help Al, but the next HC might benefit greatly by continuing the process.

He was great he was at all the drills and took me aside for a while and worked with me one on one. Gave me a tour of the building and new fields. Gave me some things to work on. But overall he seemed like a great guy.

So Mr. Cullen was it hot enough for you ( coming down from Mass, I am sure the humidity was noticeable)?

What did you think of the south Florida talent vs North east?

Yeah I almost passed out during a drill they had us run in a circle...luckily they sent us for a drink and I was fine after that. the rain was nice too. The kids down here are pretty good. hard to say i'd like to get pads on and see then. I see you found my highlight. thanks for looking

Fair enough and spoken like a true LB. What did Coach Barrow suggest that you work on? Your highlights look good.

Thank you I appreciate that. I love the game. He said when I was running in a couple drills I do them more like a running back than a line backer. I play both ways and could see what he was saying. I want to play line backer in college so I will spend some time this summer in the park fixing my weight shift during a couple drills.

Thanks for the response. Just keep working hard on and off the field, and I'm sure things will work out the way you've planned them. Best of luck to you.

Coach Barrow wants to see you play like this! Good luck this summer.
