That tweet just told me he's ours expect it within incoming days maybe weeks but he's committing here Every time I have seen a tweet like that and some of my HS football friends have done that they commit to that school would be absolutely stunned he doesn't end up here

that field looks gorgeous

They ****ed up the color of the face mask tho. White cage not gray.

The new helmets have gray face masks which will take some getting used to.

Go Canes

That end zone design dates back to the OB. The white helmet has had a white facemask for almost 30 years. Our new unis have nothing to do with it.

Pretty disappointing what these camps have turned into. Had some high hopes for them initially.

Which recruits haven't participated in an Al Golden camp that you would've liked to?

And keep in mind most of these big time local seniors watching, have in prior years and that is why they have offers already and are hanging out with current 'Canes all day building relationships instead.

Watch the underclass men, not the seniors...

The issue is our camp has turned into a place to simply earn offers and because of that we don't get a ton of top talent to show up. Go around the nation of most schools have a whose who show and actually participate for the most part. It's not a huge deal but Al Golden is basically a tool to find sleepers and none of the sleepers he has bought in have panned out.

@M3N i know where the style of helmet cames from, but they obviously blended the old with new style by changing the color of the face mask. Let's not hijack the thread for something asinine.

Go Canes

That is not the case for rising seniors at a camp at almost any school. Most schools want rising seniors to come watch the coaches and witness the camaraderie that the staff has and get a feel for everything. For a rising senior, most that have commit able offers do not need to do a thing at a camp. I can name numerous schools where this takes place and the coaches tell the kids just come hang out, there is no need for a workout.

I've been to plenty of these throughout the country and for the most part it's all the same.

Underclassmen for the most part have no choice and have to workout.

Don't agree. He's looking at 2016 and 2017 kids in these camps now, and using them as an opportunity for unofficial visits among the 2015 elite. If he can find a diamond in the rough that wants to join this class, great. But everyone on this board would be ****ed if he hadn't already identified and offered the best 2015 kids by now.

Love Kyle henderson ' s tape and don't understand why he's a plan b kid. He Dominates From what I've seen.

Most of the Class of 2014 camped here, they all suck?

Seems you just care about the known senior commodity, but there is big time local talent in the younger classes out there every year.

That's my point, we are *****ing about the seniors but they were out there last year, which is why Miami is already all over them.

Isn't the point of the Al Golden camp to find South Florida talent and early?

They go to LSU once and participate in the camp, they go to Miami once to participate as underclass men, Miami knows about them early, and multiple times after to hang out the staff/team...and we *****.

this is exactly the type of kid we will be clamouring for in January and be late to the dance... I bet he gets an offer.

Agree.... 2015 class is there not to participate unless they are a new prospect but are there to see potential incoming recruits that would be apart of their team if they choose to sign on. So its important that we have quality talent there to show these guys the future of the program that will come in to help them win. So basically just by showing up everyone is actually recruiting each other to the program both the underclassmen and upperclassmen, not to mention the current players and staff. The only thing is all schools do it so you just have to have the best presentation put forth to close the deal. More camps to come as well no telling some of these guys are competitive and may just want to go out there and compete against some quality competition.

Just seen 16 QB Matt Dame from suncoast high (fl) named us his leader.

watched his hudl clips.....I don't understand the offer. weak arm and painfully slow release.

Allison looks better but also seems to have a slow release.

I just hope we can get Eason or Franks.
