Its pretty simple.
I would suggest the entire family, including Dopson, lay off social media. It’s not worth the time or trouble. I’m not on any social media besides CIS.
But the young man did create this issue by discussing his mom in the first place when no one suggested that he needed to do so. Let this be a lesson to Dopson. When you put things on social media, they live forever.

But he didn't create "this issue". The kid is allowed to make a commitment to his hometown school and discuss his mother and then commit somewhere else without a bunch of grown men making it an "issue".
Again, not saying that is you and agree that social media only adds fuel to the fire. But I've got a (much younger) son and some of those comments make my blood boil.

If the reason he left is exclusively because of money it would be dumb as **** to A) match it at all vs UNC and B) Match it right now and not right before NSD.
A) everyone talks about us paying the suck tax… well what the **** should UNC be paying when going against the local school and they are a complete dumpster fire right now with a HC who is like the oldest HC and trying to leave? In no u oversee should we have to match UNC to win that recruitment.
B) if it is entirely about NIL right now, then why the **** wouldn’t it be entirely about NIL on NSD? Increasing your bid today just means you have to further increase your bid on NSD…
