the crazy part also is....there is Spafford in the slot who if healthy is one of the quickest , fastest slot in the country paired with them.
His team smoked their nemesis on Friday night. OHSAA for some ridiculous reason had the game played in Bedford instead of in Akron at UA, which is where the regional final is usually played. I thought that they could win, the barely lost to Hoban a few weeks ago 19-14, but I didn’t see this BTA’ing happening. They play a good team from the suburbs of Cleveland next week, the defending champs in DII, it should be a good one.

This Parris kid looks legit. I was in Austin when Vince Young won the Natty for UTX. He used to run like that and people thought he was slow until he blew by the all-American safety who had an angle on him.

Saw this kid play tonight in the state semis. He took the opening kick off to the house. He picked up a personal foul the second time he returned a kick off, and he picked up a false start penalty on offense. He will fit right in.
Walsh got smoked tonight 38-7 by a very good Avon team, the defending DII champs. Our guy took the opening kickoff back for a 95 yard TD, reportedly his first return of the year. After that splash Walsh got completely shut down.
You’re a trooper for sitting at Infocision for 3 hrs in that cold. It was supposed to be 25 degrees with a windchill in the teens at kickoff. I didn’t even want to take my dog out because it was so cold.
It wasn’t too bad. I only stayed until halftime. It was all downhill after the opening kick off for Walsh. They were about to go up 14-7 and on 3rd and goal from inside the 5, the Walsh QB threw a pick 6. That was a big momentum shifter, and Avon controlled the game after that point. Based on the final score doesn’t look like the 2nd half was much different.
