2026 WR Milan Parris commits to Miami

The Hurricanes have made a splash in their 2026 recruiting efforts, landing a commitment from four-star WR Milan Parris.

An Ohio native, Parris was committed to Iowa State before decommitting in early October.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and just over 200 pounds, Parris has all the tools as an outside receiver, including a 4.5 40 time — impressive especially considering his size.

His stock exploded this fall, where he picked up a flurry of top offers which included the likes of the ’Canes.

In just eight games so far this season, he's racked up 38 receptions for 1,046 yards and 12 touchdown.s

Watching his film, Parris puts the tools to use — not just a player who has it all but nothing to show for it.

Whether its physical 50-50 balls or striding past opposing defensive backs, the Ohio native hunts down the ball like his life depends on it.

And speaking of, Parris blocks like his life depends on it — you don’t often see high-level wideouts including run block film in their highlight tapes.

The Hurricanes fought off challenges from the likes of Oregon and Oklahoma for the trending four-star prospect, able to seal the deal following his visit for the Stanford game.

Parris becomes Miami’s 24th commit in the 2026 class, joining a wideout room of Vance Spafford, Somourian Wingo and Tyran Evans — a room that continues to rise with strong senior film.

You evaluate, bring the kids in who you think fit what you want to do, and continue to evaluate while they are in your program. Through competition, the right guys will emerge to the top of the depth chart, and the remaining either work hard to stick around or get cycled out. This is a great problem to have in terms of ensuring a high-end, talented roster.
