We more than likely end up with both, colson is just about locked in, and if rakestraw is who he thinks he is, he'll come to UM as well and battle it out, alot of room for our db's to prove themselves with bandy dippin out now!
Rakestraw is not coming, did cancel his UM visit to visit missouri

Good info, the emphasis needs to be on recruiting top notch athlete's in that secondary with good instincts, which is why i like this colson player, and bethel should've stayed, but if a player is not committed in his heart he wont succeed nowhere anyway. I dont do the comparison things but its like when the penn disgrace morons picked up corn elder, was a runningback in highschool, too notch, was Mr. Tennessee football i think twice, just a **** of an athlete which is why he was able to bode well at db, just like deejay dallas would've. Once corn got with coach rumph, the sky was the limit for em.

Our db room God Willing with good health is going to be on a mission, dj ivey is now a certified db, all he has to do now is run track this year, get a lil stronger, he's already proven he can go up against some top notch receivers, people seem to forget ivey was covering those same lsu receivers as a True Freshman, him and Blades, they not phased by the competition, its bout to get real competitive over their. Same with the safeties, i like what i saw outta of bolden, he can ball, but more importantly, he's a quick learner and learns from his mistakes. If our secondary starters come next year are Blades, ivey, gurvan and bolden, im good with that, with couch and williams getting burn as well as keontra, our secondary is solid and with better athlete's at linebacker overall, that'll make this defense even more athletic.

By the way, shouts out to the austrailian punter who came in and did his business, he's an asset to this team and the defense. Coach richt left this team in real solid shape, keep in mind, it was coach diaz who actually phucked us up in the ACC championship, was calling aggressive defense all year, gets to the ACC championship game and than started running soft **** and zone coverages which is why Clemson picked us apart, coach diaz coached nervous that night!

I think you are overestimating Colson's athletic ability, Rakestraw is the better prospect, not only does he mainly play the position he definitely faster. This Colson kid is not even faster than a kid like Delancey; the Edric Whitley kid out of TX is a bette prospect than Colson.

By no means am i putting him on corn elder's level, i just like the fact that he's a 2-way player, case in point, jock rousseau played receiver, safety, linebacker, so he's way more athletic than most players he's going up against. The more athlete's we have the better. While it maybe true that rakestraw and the others may actually test out better, we'll see who pans out better from actual games played.

You from Ocilla fam? That's my grandma's hometown. That's a tiny little town bruh. Given our less than ideal CB situation, I say sign him up. I agree Colsons grow trees down here but everyone else is picking the fruit and he's very interested. Kid's offer list ain't too shabby either. He might become a player for us. Major culture shock going from Ocilla to SoFla but it's possible. I'm living proof that it is...
I know Ocilla!

Never been there but one of my favorite musical performers, the late Dave Prater, grew up in Ocilla.

As a young man, he journeyed down to Miami, met Miami's own Sam Moore, and together they became the very popular soul and rock duo, Sam and Dave.

They had big hits, "Hold On, I'm Comin'", "Soul Man", "Soothe Me", and "You Don't Know Like I Know", and others.

They were terrific live performers, toured Europe with Otis Redding, Booker T and the MGs, and others from the famous Stax label.

At this point, you take the kid and see what hes got. If its clear he wont play in 1-2 years, portal him out

But if Manny is going to keep Rumph you gotta change the entire strategy for CB recruiting. Glue Cooney/Banda to Rumph and have them recruit for him or something...
Stop acting like Banda is great🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Matador, I swear on a stack of Bibles that he and my grandma used to date when they were teenagers. They broke up a couple years before they both wound up moving to Miami where my granny met who would eventually become my grandfather. Needless to say, Sam & Dave weren't his favorite act. I should've known a vet like you would've knew where Dave Prater was from...

Never said he was. But he is a better recruiter than Rumph. Point of my post is letting Rumph continue to croot CB's by himself is idiotic, he needs help or a change of strategy. As they say, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity...

Banda is ******, on the same ****** level as Rumph.

Our safety recruiting and depth is way better than CB. Whether Banda deserves credit for that or not, im not interested in arguing over but on face value he's a better crooter. Behind the scenes who the ***** know because we dont actually work with them, we're on a message board speculating

We have more bodies, but it is still pretty average and unathletic group.

Bolden looks like a potential beast, injury was super unfortunate. Hall has flashed but not lived up to the hype yet, needs consistency. Carter is very average and bit of a JAG. Jaquan and Redwine were both beasts before so i knew we would take a step back here

Bolden is a transfer, it is no that hard to get transfers when you have 2 other guys on the team that went to the same highschool. Hall is definitely not as good as people advertise, but he still has time to turn it around, Carter looked average to bad out there, Banda should of had enough depth to were a guy like Knowles shouldn't be able to see the field. Jaquan and redwine were beast, and Banda did not recruit them. I can confidently say that the Safety talent now is worst than when Banda got here, Jamal Carter, Jenkins, Redwine, and Jaquan were good evaluations from the previous staff and I really do not credit Banda for putting them in the league. Another pet pee with Banda's recruiting is that he loves slow safeties.
